Communication with host was not very easy, as it was mediated for a chat that did not fully work and it was not immediate. The information on where/how to get the keys was sent last minute. First, it said someone was going to meet me at the property, and it was only when I got there and there was nobody waiting, and after calling (an international number) that I was told about a different system. I had to wait to get a message with more information, and after that, I had to walk in the sun (it was really hot) to get to a different and weird location to access the keys. That was not good and it could be easily avoided if the information was sent earlier and by text, email, etc. The internet was working fine but the last day, it stopped working. We had to wait to the following day, which was too late for us.

Perfectly located on the main pedestrian shopping street, this clean and spacious flat had everything we needed, a lovely balcony, and comfortably fit four adults—just be prepared to walk in with luggage and up two floors.

spacious apartment right near everything we wanted to do and explore. great location. quiet area, minimal cars and most of the shops close by 9pm, so not a lot of noise at all in the area. easy to collect keys from a location just a few minutes away. with a few minor tweaks and changes this place could easily be 5 star. i left some clothes by accident and they sent it to their Barcelona office where i was able to pick up later when visiting the city, this was very nice and helpful for us

Unfortunately a few things could have been better. The parking situation is not at all well explained in the listing/ posting. You have to reserve ahead of time (was not noted in the listing) and minimal for the parking is 3 days (can park less but you pay for 3 days. The listing also says nothing about paid parking. Parking said private, but its just a space in a garage about 5 minutes or so away. Normally private parking in a listing means its their space, and its private tied to the house. The host should consider redoing how this is noted. . We did not know to book ahead, so we were on our own for parking and paid rates. TIP - if you do this and want to leave your car for a few days, you can talk to someone at the desk in the garage and there are rates for multi-day parking. some of those you can come and go as you want too. We were able to do this and save a little on the rates! the host is not a individual person. it is a company. Not super easy and not super pleasant. When i first called to figure out where to park. they lady who answered told me she did not speak English, then proceeded to have a full fledged conversation with me in English..lol the washing machine was gross. Black bacteria and other inside the liner that looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The company did agree to refund the cleaning cost due to this. The blankets were also stained and we elected to not use them.
