The host's attention to detail and readiness to help. We came a day late due to car troubles, and Pascal has done everything he could to help us get over that stress. He has also offered us the opportunity to extend our stay.

Memorable stay enhanced by the colours and vibrancy of Vernon and Giverny.

The most delightful and obliging host we have ever had in all our years of travelling. He went out of his way to ensure our stay was memorable. The front deck over looks the Seine so it is a lovely place to sit and observe the traffic on the river. The apartment is an easy walk to the timbered houses, the museum and many excellent cafes and restaurants in the heart of Vernon.

Great Location and Clean Accommodation

Lovely stay, very good location near the Seine with very hospitable hosts. They live apart from the rental but could always be relied upon for anything. Pascal went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Very responsive to any query we presented. Thank you so much for all your assistance 🙏

Well equipped, comfortable apartment with great location and view.

Pascal met us at the station and took us to the lovely apartment overlooking the Seine. We used both bedrooms and the sofa bed, which were all very comfortable. The kitchen area is small, but very well equipped with plenty of pans, utensils, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Teas, coffee (ground and Bosch Tassimo) and a bottle of local cider were welcoming. Soft towels and shampoo/shower gel/hand wash were provided in the ensuite shower room and main bathroom (power shower over bath). The single toilet is helpfully separate. We enjoyed sitting on the raised terrace to eat, drink and relax with the view. We didn't use the table tennis or pay extra for the hot tub or bike hire, but maybe next time. It was fun to watch the fish and frogs in the small covered pond. Great location from which to explore the town centre (with shops, cafes and historic buildings), walk along the river, visit Monet's gardens at Giverny, day trip to Rouen or Paris and explore other delights of Normandy.

The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and had a lovely balcony overlooking the Seine. It was well located close to town and close to Giverny. Pascal was kind and helpful. We were sad to leave since it was our last night but overall an excellent stay!

Fabulous apartment with stunning views of the river Seine

lovely clean, comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. Both bedrooms open onto a spacious terrace overlooking the river Seine.Peaceful area yet close to town centre. Safe parking on street. Pascal was very helpful when we needed information about local restaurants. Handy for the gardens at Giverny, you can walk in 30 minutes or there is a tourist train and a shuttle bus from Vernon. Vernon is a very pleasant town,lots of medieval buildings.

A perfect spot on the Seine

Pascal was an excellent host - very welcoming and friendly. The property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The bike hire on site was very convenient for our trip to Giverny.

Relaxing stay in a lovely location

We loved every minute of our 2 night stay here - the apartment is light, immaculately clean and very well equipped, and has a beautiful view of the Seine. The reclining deckchairs on the terrace are the best! There is also the added relaxation of a hammock and a fish pond - the weather was very good during our visit, so we really appreciated all of this. Pascal could not be more warm and welcoming: he’s an excellent host. In addition, Vernon also exceeded expectations - it’s a lovely bustling little town with a beautiful ancient centre and lots of individual shops and eateries, that can be reached by a short walk along the river. An hour’s walk or 10 min drive from Giverny (try and be there during the last hour of opening time - the place empties out around 5pm). Absolutely recommended!

This apartment was in a very scenic position. It was clean and well furnished with all necessities. The apartment was quiet and private. Our host was very helpful and pleasent and I would definitely recommend this apartment. However the bathroom and ensuite do need refurbishing.

Absolute bliss!

Absolute bliss! Our intention was to escape and relax and this is the PERFECT place to do that. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and the beds are extremely comfortable. There are 2 sets of glass doors that open up onto the terrace - and when these are closed, with the beautiful wooden blind closed also, the bedroom is wonderfully quiet. We had the best night's sleep we had both had in years! We thoroughly recommend purchasing the breakfast - everything is made available in your room. It is generous with lots of variety.

De accommodatie was heel goed gelegen en had goede bedden.

Beliggenheden og at der var et veludstyret køkken. Pascal er en ualmindelig venlig og hjælpsom vært. Dejlig stor terrasse med parasol og 2 solstole. Det lykkes at sidde ude og spise morgenmad med udsigt over Seinen fordi parasollen var så stor at vi kunne bruge den som læ for regnen

Du kan godt lave mad på komfuret, men vaskemaskinen står lige foran komfuret, så det er ikke så komfortabelt at lave mad.

A recepção foi muito atenciosa e a casa é muito bem equipada. É ideal para 4 pessoas. Como meu grupo estava em cinco, ficou um pouco apertado, mas nada que não fosse totalmente administrável. Tudo muito arrumado e limpo. Tem uma varanda linda, com vista para o Sena. O parque em frente é ótimo e é perto dos restaurantes e bares. Muito fácil para estacionar.
