Location, location, location. This hotel is 3 mins walk from St Mark's square and 2 min from the Grand Canal and watertaxis etc. In the other direction there are many good value restauarants. This is not a hotel to spend time in- It is a base for everything around. It does not serve breakfast (or any other meals) but has a kettle in the room, fully working air conditioning and excellent wifi. Our ground floor room was "compact". When we were there the reception was staffed and very helpful.
Nothing - providing you have set appropriate expectations

Location was just perfect, close to everything, and a very cute boutique hotel.
The room was small so recommend as little luggage as possible.

Very close to the main visitor spots in Venice. The receptionist (owner?) of hotel was very friendly and helpful. I also appreciated there is a fridge in the room.
There are some little baby fries frying around in the room. The sink smelled sewage a bit.
