We made do an overall good trip

Great location in a very quiet neighborhood. Five minutes to the water taxi. About 20 minute walk to restaurants.

When we arrived the air conditioner was not working and the host was not very accomadating. After jumping thru his hoops to try to get the A\C working he finally sent someone to fix it. Be aware of the elevated kithen floor. Easy to trip and fall. Bathroom is not accommadating for plus size people. Bathroom doors leak and flood the floor. Had to put towels down to keep water in shower. Black mold on the bathroom walls. No clothes pins to hang our laundry.

The apartment was clean and the staff went out of their way to allow us to check in earlier and drop our bags

The location is quite far outside a main area with restaurants etc. Think it is overpriced compared with other accommodation in the city.

Superb

Spacious, quiet place with a great location (just 2min from the vaporetto stop) - highly recommended if you want to stay outside of the city centre but still be able to get there fast when needed :) Contact with the hosts was easy and response time quick.

Rudest people in the world and most uncomfortable stay.

The location was further away from places than we expected. We had a terrible time finding the place:5 hours to be exact: over bridges, under bridges. My back was really hurting, and my husband was as well. We are from small islands that don't use ferries to get around. WE use planes and have international airports, so we were quite confused there. Long story short: my phone wasn't working, and everyone said the apartment was a 10-minute walk. We finally got internet from a bar owner so we could call them. The owner got upset with us for being late. I tried to explain that my phone wasn't working properly in Italy, and it doesn't take Italy sim. She fussed at me all the way to the apartment and even when we got there. Also, the first night we went out to get groceries and the ferries wouldn't stop at our location even though it was on their route. The last one even stopped at the dock and wouldn't open the gate. My husband got upset at that point. The person that opens the gate said that we must wait for the next ferry in two minutes. The water ferry people are rude. Even some of the grocery store people. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. We were scared to go out because we were afraid that we wouldn't get back to the apartment for hours. My suggestion to the people of Venice is to treat foreigners better or find another way to make money. I recommend all of my friends to never visit Venice. My country has a program called PRIDE which is delivered by our Tourism Department. Under it is Customer service. The Tourism Bureu in Venice should have training like this for everyone if they want to continue to have tourists. PRIDE stands for Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence. Venice has a reputation for the people being rude and I don't think that is the reputation that you should have as a people. People make a country. In my country, people would be fired for that behavior.

Some mould in the shower. When leaving for the last time have to remember not to shut the apartment door before first opening the apartment block entrance door, otherwise cannot get out.

Hosts were excellent in communication and assistance, especially when our arrival flight was late.

Close to waterfront and vaporetti boat stop. 15 minute walk to Piazalle Roma, from where many coaches arrive and depart for airport.

A bit far from tourist sights, but, can be walked in about 20 minutes along scenic waterfront.

Night in Venice

Very clean , the beds were comfortable, the apartment was quiet. We were doing the Venice midnight run and we got back at the apartment around 12:00. It was a very safe neighbourhood. The person who welcomed us was very sweet and helpful.

The shower door was very difficult to close but the rest of our stay was perfect for our needs.

A perfect place away from the tourist crowds

Quiet, well equipped flat in S. Marta, away from the historical centre and the crowds but still at a walkable distance, and the vaporetti stop is 2 minutes away. The neighborhood has a greengrocer, a (good) vegan restaurant, a baker and a snack bar, and a market on Mondays ; popular Campo S. Margherita, 20 min. away, has everything, including a supermarket with a large deli counter. Gabriele and Alberto, the owners, are very helpful.

No change of bedlinen or towels during our 10-day stay. A warning :The beds are narrow and there is hardly any place to turn around in the bathroom so it might not be the best choice for a large person.

In a residential area, away from the busy tourist parts, but close to public transport

The apartment is only 2 minutes away from a water-bus stop, so its easy to get to other parts of Venice. The apartment is quiet, spacious, and well equiped, with plenty of storage space. The wifi works well, as does the heating. There was a small market selling cheese, meat, wine and vegetables etc next to the apartment block on Monday morning. The nearest supermarket is one stop away by water-taxi at P de Roma

The bathroom is very small, the water temperature is impossible to control, going from cold to boiling to cold, and there isn't a shelf in the shower. There are no local bars, shops or restaurants, apart from a Vegan restaurant open in the evening.

Trotz genannter Hindernissse war der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung angenehm.

Gefallen hat uns die günstige l Lage zum Vaporetto und die Geräumigkeit der Wohnung

Die Wohnung war angesichts der rätselhaften Hauserverteilung in Venedig erst nach 3 Versuchen zu finden... Der Vermieter trat nie persönlich in Erscheinung. Booking Com hat es versäumt, darauf hinzuweisen, dass der Vermieter nicht über die angegebene Tel.nr. zu erreichen ist , sondern erst über die Erstellung einer Chatgruppe auf WhatsApp. und nach Erstellung eines 'Beweisphotos' vor der Haustür bereit war, den Code für die Wohnungsöffnung freizugeben . Die Haustür musste durch einen anderen Hausbewohner geöffnet werden. Der Wasserhahn am Handwaschbecken wurde erst auf unsere Anmahnung voll gangbar gemacht.

Alloggio normale senza infamia e senza lode. Pulizia accettabile

La comunicazione coi proprietari e la disponibilità in quanto si sono lamentati del nostro arrivo in ritardo a causa del treno, inoltre prima del check out ho chiesto se fosse possibile tenere i bagagli fino alle 15 da loro e mi è stato risposto in malo modo. Inoltre per quanto riguarda la tassa di soggiorno visto che mancava 1€ nel Locker sono stato preso a male parole dal gestore via whatsapp che ha preteso un bonifico da 1€. Vergognoso non tornerò più.
