There is absolutely nothing not to love about Ceylon Olive Galle. From the moment we booked, Kumudu was incredibly communicative, warm, and helpful, making us feel welcome before we had even arrived. His hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional.
The property itself is stunning. Beautifully designed with thoughtful attention to every detail, it perfectly captures the charm and character of a traditional Sri Lankan guesthouse while offering every modern comfort. It was, without question, the most beautiful and immaculately clean accommodation we stayed in during our trip around Sri Lanka.
The location is ideal—peacefully situated between Galle Fort and Unawatuna Beach, giving you the best of both worlds. It's wonderfully quiet, yet only a 10-minute tuk tuk ride to either destination.
Breakfast was freshly prepared to order each morning and was absolutely delicious. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we genuinely looked forward to returning to the guesthouse after each day of exploring.
If you're looking for a place that combines authentic Sri Lankan hospitality, beautiful design, comfort, and an excellent location, Ceylon Olive Galle is an outstanding choice. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

It’s like an oasis in Galle. The host and staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean and the pool area was perfect for a relax after a day exploring Galle.

Ceylon Olive Galle is an oasis that you must visit. Superbly stylish overall construction giving spacious rooms. Attention to details is obviously imperative to Kamudu and he makes you feel soooooo welcomed. Once his Resturant is completed you will not need to leave the compound.

A nice and quiet guest house nested in a tropical garden with a pool. The family room was very large with 1 big and comfortable bed and 2 single beds. Both Kumudu and Era where very helpful and friendly.
The Tuk tuk service they propose is very convenient to get to the busy area of Galle Fort.
