    Sun House was absolutely beautiful, one of those rare places that feels special from the moment you arrive. The room was gorgeous, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind. Its location is ideal, just a short distance from Galle, so you get both tranquility and easy access to explore. The food was perfect throughout our stay, but the breakfast truly stood out, the most amazing spread with so many fresh, delicious options. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience even more memorable. We especially loved watching monkeys playing in the trees around the property, it added such a unique and magical touch. To top it all off, we had the pool entirely to ourselves, which felt like pure luxury. We will definitely be returning.

    This beautiful and quaint. Nice large rooms that open up to a verandah. Our room was called the Merchant. Very comfortable bed. No bugs or geckos inside our room. We ate both nights at the hotel. The quality of the food was excellent. Nice breakfast too. Staff were very nice and helpful. The pool was so refreshing. They only have 8 rooms a perfect size for an adult only resort (wish it was). It’s too small to have little kids running around. There are lots of monkeys on the trees putting on a show, it was quite entertaining.

    We thought we would spend a bit extra for our final night in Sri Lanka and so glad we did. Loved staying at the Sun House, amazing staff, stunning surroundings and we had an upgrade of room, it was like stepping back in time and living the dream. Watching the monkeys and bird from our private veranda was special and so was the Sri Lankan breakfast, the best we had on our trip.

    Unfortunately we were unable to stay in the Sun House as our travels were restricted by the cyclone. The hotel looks absolutely beautiful. I would recommend the Sun House based on photos and the wonderful helpful attitude bof the managers/owners. They have corresponded in a professional but caring and understanding manner even offering a deferral of our booking.It is a pleasure dealing with such positive and understanding people. They represent what customer service is all about.
