Clean and cosy
Only that we had to put the heating on when we arrived but it warmed up very quickly. It was fantastic though so really this was not an issue.

The warm comfortable feeling. It was just lovely.
The coldness of the tiles on my feet in the bathroom.

Perfectly sized cottage with cute decor and a great location in Dunblane. The bed was comfy. The cottage was near the foot bridge over the train tracks into the village center. Everything was within walking distance. The cottage had parking right out front.
The cottage was next to the train tracks and there was some train traffic noise (although not that bad). The shower had very little water pressure (even with the electric shower attachment). There was a huge misunderstanding about the property that was eventually handled by Booking.com.

The accommodation is a studio room and bathroom . Beautifully warm.spotless and well equipped .
If you didn’t want to chill as we did - the location is good for the train and supermarket -both are one minute away !
Dunblane is well located for lots of history locations and interesting places to visit . Dunblane is pretty and the Riverside cafe over the railway bridge is great for food and drink .and the shops , museum , golden post box and catherdral are all worth a visit.
The cottage is more of a small studio room - and has windows on both sides ! The blinds have to be kept closed for privacy as there are paths that pass by them .
You sleep next to the front door essentially and we did feel quite uncomfortable with that - maybe a curtain over the door would help ! However we are of an age where we enjoy a bit of luxury and should have paid more attention to the description - it’s more for a younger generation . The studio has everything you need for a short stay and it’s easy to park outside .

Spacious apartment with all the details in a quiet location very close to Stirling.
Convenient for visiting the area.
The bed is wide and comfortable.
I think the apartment would benefit greatly from an improvement in the decoration, furniture, etc.
But maybe it's just a matter of taste.

Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from village with most things you need on your doorstep. We had our 2 year old with us as we were going to a wedding in Stirling, but she enjoyed herself and little walks nearby to keep her occupied. Very clean, bed I would say is firm but I prefer that. Everything about it was very cosy.
If I had to pick something, I would recommend replacing the wall clock with a silent one as it was quite loud when trying to sleep - but we still managed!

This is a great place as a basecamp for exploring the region by train. It’s like a big hotel room with a small kitchen. Nothing fancy but does the job just fine. It’s next to the train station and close to the town centre.
The cough that turns in a bed isn’t very comfortable.

Great location and nice cosy cottage. Well stocked and very clean.
It was smaller than we expected from the photos. The extractor fan didn't work and I suggest a blind in the bathroom. It's on a main
path so be prepared for lots of people passing by.

Quaint cottage which was clean, cosy and well equipped.
The only thing is the lack of space for storing food. There is a good size fridge but not much room for storing other food.

Lovely decor. Very clean. Comfy bed with quality bedding. Nice big shower. Free parking.
No thin pillows so that was a problem. Not good if you want to do any serious cooking as there are two smoke detectors in a relatively small room.

gorgeous studio, everything you need
It was dark and raining when I arrived, and I couldn't find the property for quite a while.
When I got inside it was freezing as the heaters hadn't been put on

Good central location to town, property supplied everything you need to self cater including yummy coffee. Lots of nice touches to make it feel homely. Free parking outside cottage.
Bed & pillows could of been more comfortable. Next to train station so a little noisy at times.

Location is great, just perfect to explore Dumblane
We liked everything.

The modest outside hides a modern, well equipped cottage on the inside. It is situated just minutes walk from shops and restaurants.
We were not disturbed, but the railway track runs not very far from the cottage.

A small insignificant looking cottage but once inside it was spacious, well laid out and tastefully decorated. Facilities good.
Ideally situated for trains to Edinburgh, shops and eating places.
Nothing really.

Location was really convenient for station, restaurant and shops.
The cottage itself is lovely inside - really restful and tasteful decoration. The open plan layout makes it seem spacious and it's flooded with natural light. Really appreciated the little touches like the coffee pods and the tablet giving information about the property and the area.
The cottage itself was brilliant. My only issue was with people passing by it at night - because the door opens straight into the living space and the other side backs onto a footpath, I did jump a couple of times at sudden coughs / noises - and someone knocked the door as I was in bed the first night. This would be less of an issue if people weren't staying there alone. The noise of trains passing is audible but didn't disturb my sleep at all.

Location of the cottage was ideal. Close to supermarket and short walk to restaurants and high street.
Cottage was spotless, spacious and had everything we could need.
Dunblane is a lovely town with a very relaxing feel to it. The cathedral is a must visit.
Without trying to think really hard we had no dislikes with the property.

The cottage was beautifully designed and very well thought out. The attention to detail is what you'd expect from a five star hotel.
The walks along the river near-by were a highlight.
Perhaps could do with some net curtains as people tend to walk by on the foot paths.

Cobbler's Cottage was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. It was like home from home. We particularly liked the location as it was close enough to walk to the restaurant we had booked for lunch and we were able to enjoy a lovely walk along the river too.
There was nothing that didn't please us about our stay.

The location was wonderful...so easy to walk to the center of town for restaurants and shops. Plus, just around the corner is a large grocery store. Good access to major roads, to explore the area.
Instructions on use of appliances in kitchen would have been helpful. Owner needs to recognize that some guests, like us, are not from the UK and we're not familiar with basic functions.

Loved the layout and coziness of the cottage. Warm, all facilities working perfectly, perfect for a couples getaway. Literally right next to tesco and train station so perfect for those who don't drive too.
Being right next to the train station is perfect for those that don't drive but it does mean there's occasional noisy trains. Fine for me as I used to live behind a train line but unsettling for my partner who isn't as used to it. Can get a bit noisy at night especially if you aren't used to it

Inside the cottage it was beautifully decorated, cleanliness and facilities were excellent including the big shower cubicle. It was a relaxing 3 night stay for my husband and I.
The location is excellent for the town centre, with good coffee shops, Tesco 3 minutes walk if you need to top up on anything, lovely walks nearby, Cathedral, Railway 4 minutes walk from cottage.
The noise from the trains passing so close to the cottage from 5.am to 11.53pm.
No garden, nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
No small freezer part in the fridge, it would have been handy this week for ice cream with the hot weather.

We traveled as 2 adults and 1 child and the cottage was perfect for our needs. A cot bed had been put up on arrival for us. The cottage was perfectly clean and extremely welcoming. It instantly felt like a home from home. We have already recommended to friends!
Nothing! Everything was fantastic!

property was very clean, quiet area and very close to rail station and town centre
Difficulty operating electric heaters. Suggest written information is left. We had to get the owner to the property as one heater wasn't working. Heating needs addressing.

Location was close to railway, shops and restaurants. Very clean and well laid out within.
Everything required for a short stay was there including Netflix etc.
Only negative is the wooden floors do mean you should take slippers.

Cobbler’s Cottage was perfect for us. Three generations of women in the cosiest of cottages, river running in the background. It was just gorgeous
