The person who met me to provide the keys went WAY out of the way to find FREE parking for me fir the day! She was GREAT! Great food and drink close by

The location was great, close to a nice restaurant, on the bus route and easy to walk to the next little town of Hirsau to see the ruins there. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the apartment is very spacious.

There wasn't a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine we had so we had to go buy one. The check in information on the app was poor. It just said someone will meet you there. The app wasn't letting me see my hosts answers to my questions. Her answers would show up in my email but in German which I don't speak or understand. So her last message was telling me to call her and give her a half hr notice to meet us there. I was travelling from France by train, have a Canadian Iphone so had no wifi to see her message. So we got there but no one was there to meet us. Thankfully my daughter speaks German and could decipher the email message regarding we needed to call the host. She lives in Berlin so could call easily from her phone. The phoning the host requirement doesn't work well for those of us who don't have European phone numbers. The cost to call from a Canadian phone would be very expensive. The check in instruction on the app should say the host needs a half hr warning of our arrival. That way I would have had that information beforehand and could have found wifi to send her a message on my exact arrival time. I wasn't impressed with Booking.com's app for communication and information about my arrival.

Bathroom is a bit uncomfortable. Towels are not included (but the owner was so nice to provide it to us)
