L'Escale de Broglie

The hosts were super friendly and very helpful, creating a very warm welcome on arrival. Our room was lovely and spacious, a lot bigger than average, even having a fridge which was very handy. The dinner was out of this world tasty and we were even catered for with a last minute menu change from fish to a meat option, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel was beautifully presented and the location was brilliant, across the road from a vets so we could get our dog worming treatment needed to return to the UK, and 3mins walk to the most scenic area to walk our dog and enjoy a family stroll. The hotel having a secure and off road car park as well was definitely a great feature for us being on a road trip, we felt we could leave things in the car overnight without worry.

The child’s bed in the room was more like a camping bed and the mattress was uncomfortable, our room definitely had more than enough space and would definitely benefit from having solid permanent single size bed to maximise comfort.

The property is beautiful. Everything carefully thought out. Rooms were spacious with wonderful furnishings. The beds were so comfortable with amazing bedding. Food was delicious and plentiful. We will definitely come back. Such a pretty village, worth a visit and a fantastic stop over destination on our way home!
