From beginning to end, this was an amazing selection for our two night stay in Civitavecchia before boarding a cruise. Our hosts, Rita and Michele, couldn't have been more gracious. From offering to pick us up from the train to bringing us homemade lasagna, wine, olive oil, and bread, to making good suggestions for food, to finally bringing us to the port, they made us feel like family.
The apartment, which is really an attached home to theirs, was extremely spacious, clean, and offered a very comfortable bed as well as a great, fully stocked kitchen for cooking, and a relaxing outside patio with lounge chairs which were great for relaxing.
I know if I cruise from Rome (Civitavecchia) again, there's no question about where I'll stay. This is my home away from home.
I only had two nights here.
