The position of the flat, close to the centre but at a high point looking down, was quiet, charming and rewarding. Parking was possible, with awareness of market-day restrictions essential. Breakfast was offered in a local cafe and was very generous. To stroll down and zig-zag up Via Raffaello was a delight and the cultural gems in the centre simply magnificent. Our host did everything possible to help us.
If two 70-somethings managed the steep incline leading to the accommodation, it should be fine for most others, but it remains a significant ascent. The top flat is accessed via a spiral staircase which was a tight squeeze when one had to haul suitcases to the flat - but was a delightful feature and a clever use of the space available.

Great location , top of the main hill leading down
Steep road to the centre of Urbino. Quiet , comfortable apartment .
Beware !Parking is an issue on Friday/Saturdays as there is a market occupying the parking lot nearby . We had to pay to park on Friday afternoon then move the car on Friday night to a free park available only a long way down a lower road . So carrying our suit cases next day involved a long walk .
Arriving on a Saturday by car would be a real

nice and affordable room in great town. liked the kitchenette and separate entrance. a/c worked well. communication with host went smoothly. liked system with breakfast-vouchers for nearby cafe. definetely recommend!
wifi was a bit spotty now and then, but not too bad. nothing to complain really, had a great time here!
