OK, a mixed review, the room & location is absolutely fabulous, as there is a ZTL in effect in the old town of Gallipoli, you can park in the Port (outside the ZTL zone) & easily walk to this hotel with your luggage HOWEVER you are expected to check in at a different hotel 800M away from the actual room you have booked & this is NOT made clear on the booking.com page, you are sent an email advising of this AFTER you have paid for the room so less than impressed with this part of the experience, especially as we did not see/read the email until we were standing on the road outside the room & trying to get hold of someone to check in. Once this was resolved, the rest of the stay was magnificent, room is fabulous (loved the glass ceiling allowing you to view the old interior roof) & it has been wonderfully refurbished in recent times. There is a cafe/patissere within 10M of the front door so late night drinks or early breakfast is only metres away. Loved the hotel & the surrounding area, shame the check-in process is not more clearly explained PRIOR to confirming the booking !.

La suite en elle même est magnifique, spacieuse, propre et très bien placée.

On nous donne rdv dans un hôtel pour le Check in et il faut ensuite se rendre dans un autre endroit pour les chambres. Dans une ztl donc il faut se garer avant et transporter les valises ce n’est pas évident. Et arrivé devant la porte de la chambre un escalier très raide et étroit. Très difficile à monter avec de grosses valises. Dommage que ce ne soit pas précisé. Et pas de changement de serviettes de toilettes, mais pareil pas précisé et si on veut les changer c’est 10€ par personne. Un peu excessif , et dommage de ne pas informer les clients de tout ça à l’avance

Veel ruimte. Midden in het oude centrum, dus dichtbij eetgelegenheden, tegelijk was de locatie ook een groot nadeel.

De suite was gelegen in het oude centrum, tegenover de enige weg waardoor je het centrum in kon, veel geluidsoverlast tot s’avonds laat. De suite is erg slecht geïsoleerd, dus neem oortjes mee om te slapen. Parkeren hier is drama. Van te voren zijn wij niet goed geïnformeerd. Uiteindelijk hebben wij 3 uur lang gezocht naar een parkeerplek, waardoor we de rest van de dagen onze auto hebben laten staan en alleen maar op pad zijn gegaan met taxi’s. Van te voren moet je inchecken bij een ander hotel in het nieuwe centrum: vul hier gelijk een formulier in zodat je de ZTL-zone mag betreden, koffers uitladen op de parkeerplaats links voor het oude centrum (ZTL) en daarna parkeerplek zoeken in het nieuwe centrum.
