B&B Dimora Muzio and Restaurant

Our accommodation was a spacious, beautiful room , in a palaco dating back to the 6th century, full of that old charm you would expect from a building of that age. The beds were very comfortable, and the generous space made the stay feel truly special—it was exactly what you imagine staying in such a historic place would be like. As many traveler's know, “breakfast included” in Italy can sometimes be underwhelming, often just coffee and something sweet. That was not the case here. The breakfast was simple, yet it was the best we had in Italy (excluding a couple of five-star hotels in Rome and Naples). The location could not have been better—just a two-minute walk to the beach, with bars and restaurants (including their own excellent-value restaurant) right on your doorstep. We would like to thank our hosts, as both the accommodation and the beautiful town of Gallipoli made our holiday truly memorable.

there was not much i didn't like except the bathroom was a little small and the door to the bathroom was more like a cupboard door, but this is a sixth centenary palaco.

Excellent location. Incredible building. We had an enormous room. Lovely terrace roof.

Hot water was a bit short, not enough for two showers. Not sure where to find people when needed but very friendly staff.

The room was in a great building right next to the cathedral. It couldn't have been more central and was very authentic. The room was huge with a view over the square. The hosts showed us where to park as outsiders cars are not allowed in the old town. We had breakfast and dinner there - very nice. You get a real sense of being in a historical building here. The hosts where super helpful as I left my car keys behind. Great place and excellent value!

Nothing - top place!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great- right in the middle of the historical/old centre in Gallipoli. Walkable distance from the beach, riviera, castle and hundreds of shops and restaurants. Breakfast was ok.

The mattress wasn't great and the bed itself neither. TV and wi-fi gave me a headache- not working properly. I missed Wimbledon final. Bathroom a bit claustrophobic. Towels a bit old.
