Very close to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops right outside!

The bathroom wasn’t the best! Smelled like drainage so needed to keep the fan on constantly which was quite loud

The location of this place alone makes it worth the stay!

The location was fantastic! We were able to walk to most of our destinations. Lots of little restaurants and shops around, and close to the beach. There are also 2 pools available to use. The staff were very welcoming.

The shower was very cold during our entire stay and we could never get it warmed up.

A great place for solo travellers in the perfect location in Canggu

I loved staying here and ended up extending for an extra week. The bedroom was clean and big, the pool was really nice and the kitchen was equipped for cooking. The staff were so welcoming and kind, and I felt very safe staying there as a solo female traveller. The location was perfect in the center of Canggu, close to the beach and shops/cafes. I’d definitely stay there again, thank you!

I wouldn’t stay here again unless I was 16yrs old and trying to party. The staff was great. The building was loud, the area was loud, the neighbors were loud. I didn’t sleep at all. Good luck if you try.

Basic, great location and friendly staff.a good option if you don’t mind comfort and want to be central

- Location is perfect, quiet and close to everything. - The bathroom while very simple didn’t smell which is a big win in Bali. - The aircon (of room 5) was good and seemed clean. Sometimes they aren’t so another big win. - The staff are friendly and kind.

- linen isn’t clean, both bed linen and towels are stained, old. The duvet was particularly bad, I moved it to the wardrobe immediately. All these need a full change, will only get worse in wet season. - the pillows and the mattresses are very bad, bad neck and back. These also need to be fully updated. - expensive for what you get vs the competition.

A bit frustrated

It’s located in the center of Canggu.

The room they assigned to me was not in the compound as described in the photos. I was led to a separate building, and my room looks not very safe. Not clean too. The worst room I have ever stayed in Bali.

Basic but fantastic location!

The location is amazing - 2 min walk from Old Man’s, Mexicola and the beach. The air con was a life saver and the wifi was really good! It has what you need to for basic comfort as it is a home stay. It is social and the pool was great! Staff were very friendly.

The smell of the bathroom wasn’t great and the power would cut out a couple of times during the day. Keep your expectations basic and you will not be disappointed. Stay here if a great location is your top priority!

Please choose another place to stay

Some part of my poor experience may have been because I arrived to check in at 11pm. There was only the night security guard to check in and a phone call by him to a sleeping manager. It doesn't excuse the really unacceptable state that the room I was given was in though.

I booked a deluxe double room and when I was shown to my room it was a tiny room (I could touch both walls from the bed) with bunk beds. There was a bottle of water from a previous guest. There was a bin full of tissues from the previous guest. There was a bar of soap, open and used, from a previous guest next to the sink. The room was full of mosquitoes, the air conditioning was incredibly loud and the furniture was infested with termites with the floor covered in their droppings. It looked like the room hadn't been cleaned in many days. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.

I very much enjoyed having a balcony so that I can let the room air out. This was a good place to stay at for 3 nights. The court year of the place I stayed at ( they have 2 locations) was part of the building which had the temples, the local architecture and lots of plants. The hotel is on the Main Street of Canggu, which means that it can sometimes be noisy from the street, but during my stay it was nothing to crazy. There are also the home overs (I think) who stay in the traditional homes annexed to the new building where they host the guests of the hotel. They would be in the court yard all day, and they would always greet you so very nicely. They would ask about your day. I felt much safer knowing that they were always around, since they would also notice who is walking in. The pool was nice and clean as well.

The drains would very quickly dry up and it would smell very badly. Even after only few hours of not using the shower, example during the night or if you are out all day, the air in the room would get very stuffy and smelly due to the dry drainage. It helped to simply poor water down the drain, but you could not avoid the smell completely if you just came from a long day exploring or during the night when the shower was not used for few hours.

Friendly staff but inappropriate value for money

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which was really great. Everytime we had a question or something was wrong they took care of it immediately. They were also really great with my child.

The value for money is not ok here. The rooms look a lot lighter and more spacious on the pictures. Additionally mine was kind of smelly because of a leaking sink and toilet and my friend had cockroaches in the room. In both cases normally a discount is offered, but not here. And I would advise you not to book via booking.com! The room rates on booking were 720.000 Rupies & on Airbnb 600.000 Rupies, which is quite a difference. The Airbnb rate is still not great value for money but at least not as inadequate as the booking.com rate.
