The flat is luminous, nice view from the windows. The location is excellent, not noisy even though it is in the centre of Cassis. Clean and well decorated. The host was available to answer questions and everything was very well explained, like check-in and check-out. We would book again, if back in Cassis!

The sofa bed is a little bit creaky! The main bed is very comfortable.

We arrived earlier than planned but were given access to the apartment and parking which was excellent. The apartment is right by the harbour with a Baker, some small supermarkets and plenty of restaurants only a few minutes away. It is open plan, airy and comfortable with views to the sea which must be 500m away over a promenade. The parking is about 20 minutes away in a secure car park but we unloaded the car at the door of the apartment and loaded it there when we left. You do not need a car in Cassis.

If anything, it would be the two flights of narrow stairs to get to the apartment and this would not suit an elderly couple or people with disabilities. It is likely noisy in the summer months as it is in the heart of the town but you can't have that and expect anything else. When we stayed it was busy but relatively quiet.

The apartment was in an exceptional location a short stroll to the beach, port, groceries, and restaurants. This was perfect in busy July where it was nice to walk back, leisurely, to the flat to eat, rest, and get a break from the sun. The apartment was comfortable for a family of four (younger kids). Amenities were great, small kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, and functioning AC. Beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. Free parking.

The only think that somewhat bothered me was linens. Towels were rough and mismatched and one of the pillow cases was tinged yellow. Seems like they use a laundry service based on how linens were provided. You will make your own bed. Check in was also complicated on a busy Sunday where you have no access to the area around the flat. This is challenging if you have a vehicle or a lot of baggage. I did not find cleanliness an issue in the apartment as some prior reviews noted. It is a second story walk up with a spiral stairwell so consider this in your selection if you have mobility issues.

Location is great ! Parking included in Cassis city center .

With a better furniture maintenance/replacement this apartment will be 5 Stars .
