Full of character with lots of interesting furnishings, African sculptures, books and other things. Very spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. A bus stop right outside to the train station. A wonderful place to stay - I highly recommend it.
The room key was a bit difficult to use.

Loved the character and quirky nature of this wonderful old building. Was grateful that the bathroom, kitchen and plumbing were modern!
Super helpful owner answered all our questions and supported us when needed.
Even though we had a courtyard view you could hear the buses and traffic noise from the front of the house.
Neighbours had to walk past our window to access their room which woke us on a couple of occasions. Particularly when dragging out their cases for an early flight.

Location was very central - very good for access and bus links just outside the door. Shared lounge was very nice. Balcony was a bonus, with a nice quite courtyard. Kitchen facilities could not be faulted.
The room/apartment ("Giovanni") was simply too small for two people, the other two rooms were far roomier and had better living arrangements (chairs/space/bathrooms & showere). I would not stay in this room again, it was just too cramped, and annoyingly the other two apartments were unoccupied while we were staying there, which seemed a little unfair.
