Great stay at Podgorica near the bus station

First of all, the location is really close to the bus station, just a 7 minute walk. And the host was super friendly, he helped me with quite a lot of things, and even recommended me to a local place to have dinner, which was very tasty. The room itself was spacious enough, hot shower, comfortable bed, heating, has everything that I needed.

Basic room

I stayed in the double room, which is quite small, but the bed was comfortable, the air-conditioning worked well, the building was quiet, the staff were friendly.

Not a hotel, the room is on the ground floor of an apartment building, basic, without charm, no refrigerator, no hot pot (for coffee), rather high priced for the quality, location is within walking distance of the bus station, which is a plus.

Cosy place , i felt safe and welcomed as solo female trabeller. Lady that works im the front desk is adoreable and very kind, she made my heart warm with little treats she offered.

Nice value for money.

Close to the bus station. There is an airport pick up for 20 EUR. I never use this service, but since public transport from airport is basically non existent and I was arriving really late, I have decided to try it. Easy communication with owner via booking messages. Everything went easily, despite my flight being delayed by 2 hours. Owner helpful in general. Clean.

It is a basic accommodation, but you should expect that for the low price. Good for a short stay.

Perfect for me

Super nice host, perfectly answered my request. The 10 score is for the host. The room I reserved has everything, private toilet, AC, etc. The location is also close to main bus station (just few minutes walk).

The wifi is not that good. But it doesn't matter for me.

Very clean and well located, the apartment was spacious and bed comfortable.

The apartment was very clean and well located. A short walk to the city and attractions. The air conditioner worked very well and I found the bed very comfortable. I arrived very late and rang the bell and the owner came to let me in, which was much appreciated. The room was spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed my three night stay. Thanks.

Good value for moneyd

Good value for money, we needed a cheap place to stay late in the evening and the host was more than happy to greet us even then. She served us fresh plums and cokes which was a lively touch. Overall exactly what we needed for our needs since we arrived by bus and wanted a place nearby. The place was clean.

The photos do not represent one room per se, but I suppose all of them in the apartment complex so slightly misleading in that sense. Our room was located on the ground floor and we had very little light. Again, not necessarily a bad thing since we were in Podgorica to stay the night only and didn't require luxury. Overall a good experience.

A clean comfortable room.

The room was clean and comfortable (I was a solo traveler and got a private room). The location was perfect for me (near the train stadion). They kindly kept my backpack for a whole day after check out. The host was very kind (offered me something to drink when I arrived). Although it was September, it was hot. The AC was so powerful that cooled down the room immediately. Shops and the landmarks were all in walking distances. WiFi worked ok.

The room was on the second floor without lift (was not an issue for me, but for some could be). I smelled smoke (could be other guests smoking). I shared the bathroom with the host family (was not occupied much, but I still felt a bit hesitant to use it ). In the room, there aren’t any appliances (no fridge or kettle, etc.). The host offered me coffee or tea if I liked though.

Pleasant room. Good for an overnight. Walking distance to the bus and train terminals.

Rumbling of trains through the night. Occasional train horn. A but of a walk to the main part of town.

Was ok

Mersada was helpful and nice and the location was close to the bus station and centre. It was also clean and comfortable.

There was no window and 2 of the lights were not working. But Mersada brought another bed light for me which helped since the room was dark with no window and natural light. There was a dead mouse in front of my room but then was gone quickly, I think it was the cat.

Good place, close to Public transport

The location is very close to the train and bus station, 400 meters away. There are few restaurants and bakeries within 1 Km. The host was very attentive and very cooperative. When I requested for some adjustments, he was well out of his ways to make me comfortable. The host is a gentleman, and very cooperative.

There is NOTHING to dislike here.

My stay was stressful, expensive, and completely unacceptable.

The only decent part of my stay was an old lady who was kind – but everything else was unacceptable.

I stayed at this apartment, but it was a complete mistake. It would have been cheaper and much better to stay at a hotel. The electricity was a disaster – it damaged both my MacBook and iPhone chargers. The AC kept switching on and off, making so much noise that I couldn’t sleep. When I asked for the maintenance man, he came shouting aggressively in his own language. Not only was he rude, but he also tried to blame me at first, even though he clearly saw the lights flickering. In the end, he just brushed it off, saying workers would come the next morning at 7 to fix it. Because of this, I couldn’t sleep, I had to spend money on a new charger, and the whole experience was extremely stressful. WiFi sucked also at the room 1.

Offers location and value

The room was very basic, but clean and perfectly fine for a night’s stay. It’s simple accommodation, so as long as you keep expectations in line with the low price, it’s absolutely fine. The host was genuinely lovely – really kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made the experience much nicer. For the money, it does the job, and the warmth of the welcome more than makes up for the simplicity of the room.

It’s in a residential area close to the main bus station and train station. I stayed one night since I arrived by bus and had an early flight so the location worked for me. The owner offers paid airport transfers. The room was basic but had everything you need. Good value.

Podgorica visit

We were greeted with juice on a hot day, lovely host. They had upgraded us to another room/building as there was some electricity issues on that day. The stay was really nice. We also booked a taxi through them to the airport, excellent service.

Good location, close to bus station and train station. Very clean. Lots of space in the room.

There is practically no natural light in the room - due to a tiny micro-window which opens right onto the next building. Some shop / mini-market around would be nice. There is a very small one close to the bus station, though.

We booked because of close proximity to the bus station. Owner was great - friendly and he waited up for us when we arrived after a late bus. Budget, no frills, exactly what you pay for!

Convenient place for travelers by bus!

Very close to the bus station, perfect if you have any early morning bus like I did. Walking to the city center is about 15 minutes. Simple and basic accommodation. Very kind host. I would book again.

Good hostel near the bus station

The hotel is well located close to the bus station. The host was very nice and helpful. The linen was brand new and clean. The check-in and check-out was easy.

Although the rooms are claimed to be non-smoking, there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room.
