A guest house attached to a bar; the staff were attentive and helpful, and the food the bar served both for breakfast and dinner was excellent, and all made with locally sourced ingredients to boot! The house came with the usual amenities; the beds were spacious and comfortable and there was a shared living/eating space, as well as clean toilets, bathrooms, and a laundry room with a space to hang clothes outside which was very useful.
The hostel is very close to the station, but said station is only served by a local train and about half an hour from Omagari; the closest station that serves the shinkansen route. If you're travelling by train only, its not the most convenient.

スタッフの対応、雰囲気。お客さん同士が気楽にコミニケーションできる雰囲気。併設している居酒屋がリーズナブルでとても居心地がよかった。
