Makoto-san, just such a wonderful host, was the highlight of our stay. This guest house is a beautiful traditional style Japanese house and has all the amenities that one would like to see, also as a western guest not used to more Japanese style amenities. Nevertheless, our host was just wonderful and so kind, including picking us up from the train station and driving us back and forth to the festival that we were in town for. The house is in a very quiet and very beautiful location, just outside Akita, in the middle of rice fields and the quiet that comes with that. Highly recommended!

Great environment, the facilities were clean and useful and the vibes were everything I could ask for in Japan

The location was a little far but the host was willing to pick us up and drop us off at Akita station everyday which made the distance no problem

宿全体が清潔、和モダンで雰囲気のあるお部屋でした。 遅くにチェックインしたけど、ご夫妻と動物たちの温かいお出迎えに疲れが吹き飛びました。 親戚の家に泊まりに来たようで、とても快適に居心地よく過ごせました。朝は、ご夫妻、動物たちと一緒に、タケノコ堀りや白華城跡を散策。子供も「もっと泊まりたかった。帰るのが寂しい。」と言うほど楽しかったようで、最高の思い出になりました。ぜひまた利用したいです。
