The property is conveniently located in the centre of Peebles, a very pleasant town with lots of restaurants and good walking opportunities. The hotel pub itself is great - friendly atmosphere, great Guinness and lively. The cooked breakfast was fantastic, perfect if you’re going for a hike! Everyone was also very friendly.
The pub is lively - which is great - but it means it can be noisy until quite late (around midnight). We were at the back so it wasn’t too bad but we could still hear some music. The room was pleasant, the duvet could have been a bit bigger and the floor didn’t seem hoovered, but these are details.

Location fab - perhaps just a bit noisy but a holiday weekend so understandable. Staff super cheerful and helpful. Service great, food great….
Just a personal preference - maybe a back room would have suited us a bit more but not a huge problem.
