Very good breakfast. Breakfast staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was pleasant and as a solo traveller expecting a single bed, it was a pleasant surprise to be given a double bed.
The room was very good value for money and I enjoyed using the leisure facilities.
The windows in the room and bathroom were huge so the rooms were pleasantly light. However, the bathroom in room 25 was incredibly draughty, to the point that I thought that the window was slightly ajar. It wasn't. I also felt that a net curtain on the bathroom on the ground floor, particularly on dark mornings/evenings was insufficiently private from the outside. Due to the chill and privacy factor, I chose to shower in the leisure facilities after a swim..
