    Set in a beautiful setting where you can relax and enjoy the facilities. The food is wonderful and the staff helpful and friendly. Sit out in the beautiful gardens also or the cafe or bar with beautiful views.

    Dust & cobwebs in room, cup stain on bedside table, toilet pan loose, no full length mirror, breakfast poor, haggis didn't taste nice, porridge same. Some drinks unavailable at bar, advertised free use of spa at another hotel 700 yds away, but this was up a very steep hill, in another part of town. Requested by email prior to visit, a room on a lower floor, they did not get the email? Also enquired regards a special meal booking, again, no response. Got what we payed for I guess?

    we enjoyed a relaxing few days in the hotel, nothing was too much for the staff, they were very friendly and helpful during our stay.
