Perfect location and good facilities for this extremely tiny studio

Even though we didn't interact personally with the staff, we had a great experience. We have received all the needed information for the check-in and they have replied kindly to our questions. In the tiny studio, there is everything necessary (maybe some olive oil or similar can be useful). The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, pans, casseroles and tools. We have not drunk coffee but I think there is also a special coffee machine. The heating system worked well. The location is extremely central in the old town. The area is quiet and we slept well in the bunk bed.

The studio is very tiny, therefore, it can be uncomfortable. It can be difficult for the two guests to have enough space to open their suitcases. We had to coordinate ourselves in this tiny space. It is feasible but not comfortable. The light is insufficient in my opinion, there is not a chandelier, just small lamps. I would have preferred two towels per person (1 for shower and 1 for hands and daily cleaning), however we got 1 per person. I understand that it can be due to the lack of space.

A small quiet apartment. (Most of the questions you're asking are unanswerable in this case.)

Very small apartment but well arranged & equipped better than many. In floor area about 2.4m by 3m. The bed is reached by a steep ladder. So there's little space to move around. It's in a very old building, very atmospheric. Some will like this apartment & some not. It is very quiet though close to Rue St Jean in Vieux Lyon. A large window onto a light well. Good shower. Facilities worked.

The lighting could be increased. I had difficulty making the large coffee machine work. Why, in a tiny place like this, not have a simple & smaller cafetière? Another handle at top of ladder would help. It's possible a couple could manage here as long as they friendly, co-operative & small!! Otherwise it might be a couple breaker. Personally, I rather loved it!

Great stay in the centre of the city!

Loved the stay! It was exactly as described, quite small but perfect for the two nights we stayed there. We were a couple so the size was not uncomfortable, and for a single person it would be perfect. My partner is very tall and he could not sit up straight on the bed, but sleeping wise it was perfectly fine. Had all the amenities we needed and the host was very nice and the communication was perfect! We picked up the keys easily and the location is right in the centre of the old city, and if you like walking, then everything that needs to be seen in the city is in walking distance! It was also very quiet despite being in the centre although we could hear when people were in the stairway. The door to the bathroom is a sliding one so it doesn't close tight so the noise insulation isn't great. Not an issue for us but something to keep in mind :) Had a great stay!

Very small but we loved it like that! And it’s the perfect location. So much to see in the city but easy to drop in and out of the appartement because it’s right in the old town. Loft style bed is super cute and fun.

It was cold outside and the owner had kindly put the heating on. The first night we hadn’t thought to turn it off and the bed at the top got quite hot. We turned the heating down and it was fine.

Very small place. There is not enough room for 2 people to move around. Entrance to place looks like a construction tunnel. I do not recommend it

Only the location.

It is so small like a Dolls House ,Impossible for two people. There is nowhere to unpack suitcase.Nowhere to hang clothes apart from two coat hangers on back of door. There is a small room about 6 feet across. Two people cannot pass. The bed is accessed by a very steep ladder. It is a mattress on the floor and when you lie down your nose is about four feet from ceiling. Very claustrophobic. You have to crawl to ladder. There are two small garden chairs and table but these are only good to sit to put your shoes and socks on. It is a dismal apartment. The window overlooks what I can only liken to a dirty lift shirt. Full of Cigarette Butts. No view. The entrance is down a dingy tunnel lit by bare bulbs not all of which work and has bare wires. The spiral staircase has windows with no glass which I think would make it slippery and dangerous in wet weather. The shower room is fine. It has small kitchen. I will rephrase it had sink,fridge, cooker in small alcove which we didn’t use as we wanted to spend as little time as possible in room. See pictures. I would be quite happy for anyone to contact me if they would like anymore information. I have more photos.

Appartement trop chaud, pas de clim en plein été, impossible de dormir correctement bouilloire et micro ondes très sales, toiles d araignées , rideaux de douche dégueulasse, bref on reviendra pas.

Une merveilleuse expérience pour découvrir une ville inconnue.

Situation idéale pour découvrir Lyon. Cadre antique avec entrée en traboule et escalier pittoresque. Rénovation très ingénieuse, salle de bain et cuisine parfaites compte tenu de l'espace. Gentillesse et prévenance extraordinaire de l'hôte qui fournit une liste de restaurants recommandés et a même offert un petit déjeuner dans un salon de thé.

Aucun reproche. Il faut un peu d'agilité pour se mouvoir dans 12 m2, je n'ai eu aucun problème personnellement bien que d'un âge avancé et victime d'arthrose avancée. Ma seule critique va à Booking.com dont le site n'est pas d'un accès facile sur un téléphone et qui m'a refusé une prolongation d'un jour alors que le studio était libre, ce qui m'a obligé à changer de logement pour une nuit. Je conseille dans ce cas aux voyageurs de contacter directement l'hôte par sms.
