Room was excellent. Staff including Landlord very friendly. Really old building with lots of character. Great central location for exploring Maldon. Some good real ales on tap. Excellent car parking. Seems dog friendly as I met a nice dog.
No breakfast option but the local cafe was fine. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but it was not dirty. The tv remote probably needs replacing or batteries changing. Food stopped a 21:00 which was a little early.

Premises are Cosy with character. Looked freshly decorated. Very helpful manager. Lent me a plug and iron very promptly. Car park immediately behind the premises. Bright room.
Boiling hot day, the air conditioner struggled.

Well situated and the staff were excellent.
Nit picking really: the stairs for us and the room could have been a bit cleaner.

It was super easy to check in and out and the staff were helpful and polite.
Couple of small suggestions to improve our stay: 1) put something under the legs of the bed to ensure it is level as the head end is lower than foot end due to slope of floor. 2) include a USB charging plug in the room 3) the sink was so small it was a hand basin so quite hard to clean teeth!
