We had a clean and comfortable room and an attentive host. Breakfast was good quality with a family based atmosphere.

The accommodation is well situated for the high street, with a large public car park just a few yards from the rear of the property. The pub is very attractively decorated with a pleasant courtyard area. Very pleasant staff.
The shower couldn't be turned off so was running through the night. There was a heatwave when I visited so, though no fault of the hotel, the room was like a sauna. The fan provided was welcome but was so underpowered that it was useless. The breakfast was fine apart from the vegetarian option sausages which were those horrible vegetable croquette things.
