Lovely Location
Karen was amazing. She is very professional and friendly. She goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The Chef is out of the world. Best food ever! He follows the rules has a passion and love for food. Local produce!

A very pleasant stay in a well run Hotel
The room had everything we needed, a comfortable bed and a large modern shower. We had a view of the coast and a balcony which would be lovely in better weather. From the Hotel, it was an easy walk to the village and we were near several cafes/restaurants. The food was excellent quality, well cooked and surpassed our expectations. We had a superb roast dinner and an excellent Breakfast the next morning. Compliments to the chef. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the ladies in the bar/restaurant and Karen who checked to make sure everything was OK with our stay. A very well run Hotel, highly recommended.

Gem The Victory - Mersea
Gem - The Victory, Mersea, is what we would say. Sea views and array of boats was the view from the restaurant, serving the most, delicious food. The accommodation was immaculate and well stocked for a B & B. Staff were extremely friendly, professional, Very knowledgeable of the island and they looked happy in their jobs, which we liked too. The We would Highly recommend, Mersea Island. We could not ask for more from The Victory, Mersea - Gem

amazing!
Absolutely perfect stay! The staff couldn't have been kinder, they even let us check in early. The room was totally spotless, the view from the room was stunning, it was lovely and warm inside, the shower was excellent and a great size, the little touch of some biscuits and drinks were great. Wonderful, will happily stay again.
