Good value for money

This is a B&B location where the host, Mrs Monica, manages a few rooms on the second floor of a building, offering a home-like Italian rental experience. Location was convenient with good value for money, only a 5-minute walk to the train station that connects with Cinque Terre villages. The room was spacious, nicely decorated (just as pictured), with a large bathroom and comfortable bed. Cleaning was done daily, but towels changed every 3 days. Good room soundproofing, we barely heard any interior noise. However with the window open you can hear the train as it’s very close. Italian breakfast is managed and served directly by Monica in a small lobby room or on the main balcony of the property. Cappuccino was very tasty 😊 Be aware that Chiavari city is not included in the Cinque Terre Train card, so return train tickets to Levanto (the first Cinque Terre village) must be purchased separately.

The Italian Breakfast was not what we expected. The same items were served daily with limited variety (butter croissant, jam cookies, yogurt, cereal, coffee/tea, apple/peach). Eggs were available upon request but always prepared as "scrambled eggs". Also, the food available felt strictly portioned (only 2 croissants and 3 cookies available on the buffet plate for 2 guests). You may find the breakfast insufficient, especially if your daily plan is hiking 😊. We recommend improving the variety and portion sizes. Another minor issue was the language barrier (English vs Italian), which made it a little challenging to discuss in-depth details or specific requests with the host.

Fantastic staff, location and comfort,

Every comfort was catered for. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location for all of Chiavari’s lovely beaches and centre.

A great place to stay for visiting Chiavari and the surrounding beautiful villages.

It was very quiet and peaceful and near to the train station, beach and the centre of town. There are 3 bed rooms in the property and when we were there we had the place to ourselves for 5 of the 6 nights. We saw the other 2 rooms which had sunny balconies and wish we had chosen one of those. Our room was fine and bathroom lovely with fluffy white towels. The owner Monica is really nice and makes you feel welcome. The building is really nice and we had breakfast outside 5 out of 6 mornings. We could have had fresh eggs cooked for us but we were happy with fresh croissants and cereals.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

we used Chiavari as a base to see Cinque Terre and Portifino/ Santa Margherita as we travelled by train. that worked

Very nice option in Chiavari

The room was very cosy, just like in the pictures, with a small balcony. The place was spotless clean, comfy bed, after a long day we had the perfect sleep. The apartment is 5 min walking from the railway station and it was perfect for our short trip in the area, visiting from Chiavari both Portofino and Cinque Terre.

The shower water pressure was quite low.

Small, charming, well-run B&B

We stayed May 16-18, 2022. We came to Chiavari to get away from the touristy parts of Italy and stayed longer than we intended because of the atmosphere and food and because the people of Chiavari are just phenomenally nice. The woman who runs this place is the sweetest and kindest of all of them. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. It was also nice to have breakfast served on the small outdoor patio.

The shower in our room did not fully function with hot water. It was manageable, though.

The bed springs squeak. Make sure customers know there is no one around after check -in. Until the next morning. It takes three keys to get in, so make sure you know how to operate all the doors.

Great location, very clean, wonderful staff.

The breakfast was basic but adequate. The room was lovely and very clean. The lady who looked after us was really nice and helpful. The room would benefit with a dustbin and maybe some tea and coffee in the room. Otherwise I would highly recommend this B and B.

It was a great B&B with large room and a couple minor issues.

The staff and the room were great. The lovely lady in the morning was really nice and helpful with breakfast. She always asked what we wanted to drink.. The room was always made up and clean. It was a lovely and spacious place right near the train station and historical center.

The rain shower head wouldn't stay on so we either had to hold it on or use the hand held shower. I told the lady thatit wasn't working and she took a look at it. Also the towel warming rack was not working either. Hopefully they can get someone to fix these issues.

3 days in the cinque terre

Room is confortable, with spacious and very clean bathroom. The place is very well kept and conveniently close to the train station, so suggested if you are planning to visit Cinque Terre by train (which is the best way). Breakfast is excellent and the Cappuccino prepared by the Lady managing the place is super.

Prima centrale locatie met nette en schone kamer.

De kamer zag er netjes, schoon en mooi uit. In het halletje kon er thee en koffie worden gepakt. De locatie is 5 minuten lopen van de zee en 5 minuten lopen naar het centrum.

Niet bevallen is een groot woord. Wellicht wat extra kussens (hard) had fijn geweest. Een koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker op de kamer is misschien wat prettiger dan in het halletje, maar is meer een tip dan dat het niet beviel. En een smart TV zou wel leuk zijn om ‘s avonds een film te kunnen streamen.

Przemiła właścicielka. Pokój dość spory, przepiękna łazienka w nowoczesnym stylu. Żel do mycia i suszarka. Zarezerwowaliśmy nocleg ze śniadaniem. Wygląda dość skromne ale naprawdę możesz się najeść. Śniadanie serwowane na tarasie, w formie mini bufetu. dziękujemy Pani gospodyni za ciepłe i miłe przyjęcie. Do dyspozycji gości jest czajnik, mikrofala, herbata i naczynia, więc jeśli kupisz lokalne sery czy wino to masz kieliszki, talerze i sztućce aby przygotować przekąski na kolacje. Lokalizacja - lepiej być nie może. Około 600min od dworca, około 600m do starego miasta. Polecajka na dobrą włoską pizzę - ArtePizza zamawiasz i jesz jak jest wolny stolik, jak nie to na wynos. Podczas naszej wizyty wydano jakieś 60pizzy. (Dzień wcześniej przed meczem,nie liczyliśmy, ale pewnie dwa razy więcej)

4 días sin cambiar sabanas ni toallas, nos solicitaron dejar la habitación a la 1015am, cuando sus términos son hasta las 11am y 1130am. Tiene escaleras al ingreso y ascensor pequeño y antiguo. Desayuno a partir de las 830am. Es un departamento acondicionado para habitaciones de renta. No es hotel.

Die Unterkunft liegt gut zum Bahnhof, es ist durch die nah vorbeifahrenden Züge aber auch sehr laut. Offenes Fenster ist schwierig.

Великолепный , комфортный отдых!

Нам понравилось абсолютно всё ! Очень уютная комната в апартаментах, оформлена в очень красивом стиле, с балконом Белоснежная постель, очень удобные кровати. Кондиционер. Завтрак на балконе- это отдельное удовольствие. Свежие круасаны, фокача , кофе, фрукты, мюсли, очень вкусный омлет и ещё много чего другого. Мы в 7 утра шли на пляж и к 9 проходили на завтрак И это было лучшее наше решение. Идеальное расположение. Совсем недалеко до моря, до центра, до ж/д вокзала. Парковали машину на бесплатной парковке на причале. Это в 15 минутах. Отдельная благодарность от нас Монике и всему персоналу за заботу и внимание.Они сделали наш отдых очень комфортным и уютным. Мы очень благодарны за тёплый приём и отличное обслуживание!

Perfekte Unterkunft mit liebevoller Gastgeberin in einem alten Haus mit Hotelcharakter

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und die Besitzerin ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat mich sogar persönlich zu dem Parkplatz gefahren. Auf Wunsch wird beim Frühstück auch Rührei serviert. Wir hatten das Zimmer Nummer 3 und dieses war sehr geräumig. Wir durften sogar unsere Bikes mit auf die Zimmer nehmen. Wir würden in dieser Unterkunft wieder übernachten 😊 Vielen Dank Lg Michaela
