A Family-Friendly Slice of Paradise

We loved the house, the pool, and the garden—it truly felt like a little paradise. Mr. Fontas is one of the best hosts we have ever met. His generosity is unmatched: he welcomed us with wine, a cake, and even a traditional Greek meal made by his wife. We also found coffee, fresh fruit, bottled water, and many thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. The house is spacious, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and has a fully equipped kitchen. The balconies offer spectacular views throughout the day and magical pink skies over the sea in the evening. The pool is the true highlight—large enough for swimming, perfect for relaxation, and fun for both adults and children. The location is another significant advantage: it is perfectly situated for catching a boat to Balos, visiting the breathtaking Falasarna beaches that resemble the Maldives, or driving to Kissamos and the famous Elafonissi beach. A car is definitely helpful to explore all these spots. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to couples and families. We loved it so much that we might even plan another holiday here in the future!

One small thing to note is the Wi-Fi: it works perfectly for social media, quick browsing, and catching up on emails, but if you plan to work remotely and need a strong connection for online meetings, you may want to reschedule some calls. For everything else, it’s more than fine.

Just wonderful.

We loved our stay at Elia Seaside Villa. The pool and gardens are just wonderful and the views are beautiful. It comes with so many things - including yoga mats! But the most brilliant thing is the kindness and warmth of the welcome - we were brought homemade cakes and delicious fruit and food, tips for great restaurants and even a spectacular full moon opera concert. It is the complete opposite of a soulless villa. We had a joyful week and didn't want to leave.

Everything about this Villa was excellent. Cannot fault from the arrival welcome, welcome food and wine offered home cooked superb pool and private setting. We will be bock. Would have been back in September but fully booked.

Fantastic in every way!

Absolutely delightful in every respect. unlike so many places now, this is truly someone’s home and the hosts treat you as honored guests. The facilities are impeccably maintained and the decor is lovely. The pool is stunning and much better than in the pictures. The location near kissamos is very convenient and less than an hour drive to the most famous beaches on the island, but within minutes of many other nice beach options. But honestly you may never want to leave this amazing oasis!

The house and the garden are in an immaculate condition; stunning, lovingly taken care of. The hosts have thought of small details and needs of travellers, from kitchen to the medical kit to phone charges. And we loved all the recommendations for local tavernas. We were very happy with our stay.

The villa is perfectly clean for starters. Every inch of it spotless. I'd normally write more, but it's a waste of words and time, it was spotless. The facilities are everything as described and listed. Kitchen is well equipped (wife is a chef and normally struggles, but had no issues here). Lots of tools available, herbs, spices etc... . The place is very modern, beautiful. Lounge, bedrooms, balconies (two), aircon throughout. Lots of towels, bedding etc... They have spare chargers and adapters, spare mosquito spray and other medicines. The pool and showers are stunning, lots of loungers and seating indoor and out. Lots of pool toys, yoga mats, some dumbells, a fantastic BBQ, on site fruit trees. The owners are wonderful, beautiful people, they had food prepared for our arrival and continued to bring food throughout our stay as well as leaving gifts. Just to make tech enthusiasts aware, the TV's aren't true smart TV's and you can't move the living room TV to get anything into HDMI or USB. You NEED a vehicle for this villa with it being outside of Kissamos. Its 25 mins from Chania. But it is a great base of operations. For keen drinkers there is not a bar or taverna in comfortable walking distance. The beach nearby is pebble and its a decent walk to a taverna in either direction once you hit the beach (either east or west), if you head west you have to pass a small stream which runs into the sea, which is OK in the day but not ideal at night as its around knee deep. We will go again in short and I don't usually do that.

We had five amazing days at Elias Seaside Villa in July 2020 as a family with our three girls. From the very first contact after our booking we could feel the outstanding care the owners and Dimitra, who facilitates the overall process, showed up to their guests. We have been welcomed very warmly. The place is outstanding, the garden with its fantastic pool is exceptional. All the equipment is superior, there are not any compromises. There is no picture in the advertisement of any „fake“ or „photo-shopped“ suspicion. In fact, the scenery we could call our little paradise for five days, exceeded the impressions we had before our travel by far. Beside all this, it is worth to mention the incredible hospitality from the owners during our stage. We felt not to be a customer but some friends sharing some days at this special place of earth. Efcharisto poli and we are absolutely convinced that others will share our impressions if they consider to stay at Elias Seaside Villa.

La villa est exceptionnelle. Et pourtant nous avons l'habitude de louer des villas dans le monde entier. Mais celle là avait un petit plus ... énorme : nous sommes arrivés un samedi soir tard et un repas nous attendait, des légumes farcis pour nous quatre, une bouteille de vin à l'effigie de la villa, un cake au citron délicieux et une corbeille débordante de fruits. La villa est très confortable, pratique et d'un grand confort. Des serviettes de bain, pour la piscine magnifique, tout ce qu>'il faut pour cuisiner, du gel douche, du shampoing. Un sèche cheveux. Bref, tout pour passer un séjour serein. M. Fontas nous a donné plein de conseils et à entretenu piscine et jardin avec professionnalisme. Merci à lui pour sa bienveillance, son sourire et sa compétence. Merci. Vraiment.
