Stunning and well located establishment, lots of amenities, very welcoming host. Both indoors and outdoors were beautiful, with a fabulous view of both Pico mountain and the ocean, weather dependent, and the contrast of beautiful colours around all the buildings . Steps away from wine and volcano museums, and 30 minute drive from Mountain House. Bonus for some (including us): friendly and healthy cats everywhere around the property.
We would have liked to have a “how to use” guide for the washing machine, we had a bit of trouble making it work but in the end everything worked great.

The location is wonderful. It is in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage site of the famous Pico vineyards. It’s next to the quaint village of Lajido where there’s one little restaurant and one place to have a wine tasting. We bought the wine made with only Pico grapes. It was excellent but it was not cheap. After hearing the explanation on how it was made, I understood why.
Paraíso do Triangulo is a place to relax. There’s not much going on and that is a good thing. The owner is so kind. As others have written, he greets you with a lovely basket of goodies including a liter of his own homemade wine; a nice touch to enhance your viewing of the sunset. I miss the place already.
Didn’t need AC but could have used a fan.
