La decoración de la pieza y que contestaban rápidamente por whastap si uno tenia dudas. Tuvimos que salir temprano y nos dieron desayuno para llevar. Nos fueron a buscar al taxi

El baño no tiene puerta lo que lo hace muy incómodo. Para llegar al riad hay que entrar a una calle oscura que se siente insegura. Estaban atentos a lo que uno necesitara pero habria sido bueno tenerlos fisicamente oresentes en el riad

The atmosphere felt more like staying in someone’s home than in a hotel. Over our five days, the owner and staff became a kind of temporary family and made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were exceptional — varied, abundant, and beautifully prepared each morning. Enough to fuel us into the late afternoon. The food from the riad’s kitchen was some of the best we had in Fez. After a long day exploring, it was wonderful to return to the wonderful smells of dinner being prepared, and later head downstairs to enjoy. The rooms were quiet and peaceful, and the beds were very comfortable. The riad itself is beautifully decorated with a refined, understated style that feels authentic without being overdone. Communication with the host was excellent from the moment we booked, with helpful information, suggestions, and thoughtful check‑ins throughout the stay. The location is very convenient — about five minutes to Place Rcif and Bab Sid L’Aouad (the East Gate), and about fifteen minutes to Bab Boujloud (the Blue Gate). Shops, cafés, ATMs, and pharmacies are all nearby. The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax and take in the sounds of the medina from above.

Our room was not refreshed while we were out during the day, although this didn’t bother us. The staff would have gladly done it if we had asked.

Great communication on WhatsApp and even arranged an airport transfer for us. The price per night was inexpensive, the breakfast included was lovely and the hospitality of the two Moroccan ladies was very friendly.

Arrived at airport and no one was waiting for us as had been agreed. Waited for 25 minutes until someone arrived At the hotel we were taken to a different room to what we had booked as they had given our room to other guests. The owner tried to help but could only speak via the phone as she was in Spain. The room we were given was on the ground floor and we quickly realised it wasn’t good. The kitchen isn’t really a kitchen as it has no utensils, no cutlery, no tableware, no kettle, no microwave, no toaster, no oven, no fridge, no dishwasher, just a sink. The shower head is only for display so the only way to use the shower is to hold it yourself, this makes showering a lot more difficult and a lot less relaxing. The shower does not drain properly so turns into a small paddling pool and as there are no windows the room smelt very damp. Once we tried to sleep, we realised the website had lied about the soundproofing as we could hear every sound outside as if it was in the same room.
