The most amazing stay at Summerfield lodge with the most lovely host. A gorgeous well equipped and very clean room with delicious breakfast, comfy bed, beautiful view and great size room. Lovely little pub just down the hill and a spa with a great deli a short walk away.

Lovely Stay in Youghal 🦋

Barbara is a great hostess. She gave me lots of information about Youghal when I arrived on Friday evening. This was so helpful and made it so much easier for me to find my bearings. My room was perfect, lovely and spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast on Saturday morning was delicious. As a guest at Summerfield Lodge, I felt warmly welcomed and very well looked after during my stay there.

The location is stunning. Gorgeous views. Very peaceful. Barbara is a wonderful host. We had great chats and she shared lots of recommendations for local food spots, which we gladly took up. Breakfast was delicious and the pre-order option was extremely helpful.

The breakfast was exceptional. We could not fault it. Probably one of he best breakfasts we ever tasted. It was pre-order with so many choices. From the moment we arrived to when we were leaving, Barbara catered for our every need. Our room was very large with great facilities. Comfort and cleanliness excelled our expectations. Scenery was amazing from this property. Barbara gave us fresh milk for tea to our room served in little churn which was a lovely touch. I would definitely rate this property 5++++ stars. Thank you, Barbara 😊

I felt safe and my hostess was very nice but I think it is overpriced.

The breakfast was good. The room was nice and with a nice view. Ensuite was very adequate. Standard of cleanliness was excellent.

My bedroom was adjacent to the ensuite of the next bedroom and I was disturbed three times on one night. Single bed duvet was too small for my comfort.

Barbara and Peter couldn’t be better hosts they were attentive helpful and full of useful information nothing was too much trouble. The property is in a great location. We had a fantastic room well laid out and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend 😀

Scenic Summerfield

Barbara was the most lovely host, welcoming and informative. She even managed to book a place for dinner for us at the last minute. Our room was so comfortable overlooking the town. Breakfast was a really nice treat for us as well.

The only thing I would mention, which is not a negative more something to be aware of ,is that the guest rooms are upstairs.
