Spotless, fabulous style, spacious and just the right amount of furniture, window sills were amazing, old style cottage modernised. Host was amazing. We loved every minute of our stay, everything was spotlessly clean, never seen a cleaner place! The counters were shining!! The fireplace was amazing, loved everything about this place. It was so quiet and peaceful, if you needed something the host Rita was ready to help. She was so sweet. The shower was perfect. Beds were so comfy. We had the best time and would love to come again.
It was difficult to get a taxi around that area but you just have to book in advance, would’ve been helpful to be reminded about bringing your own firewood as we had to take a second trip to the shop but no harm done. It was a bit on the cold side when we arrived but the fire heated the place up nicely and the oil radiators..

It was such a nice place to stay with an interesting history. It was roomy and had a good sized sitting area for our group of 4. We enjoyed the fireplace too. The beds were comfortable and it was only a short walk of about 15 minutes into town. Our host, Rita was very responsive and handled any issues straight away. She also had great suggestions for local eateries. We tried Guys Bar and Snug and would definitely recommend it. It was a good base for the Sky Road, Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey.
Would have been nice just to have a bit of milk in the fridge for a cuppa.

The amenities list a tumble drier and ironing equipment. There is no tumble drier or ironing board. The listing states that there will be extra charges for laundry and ironing. I think this must be a recent change as I would not have booked this property without it having a washing machine. I would not pay €10 for a load of laundry when it is cheaper at the launderette.
