Halloween Cottage

The attention to detail was excellent we had everything we needed. Provision of an extra duvet was appreciated, as was the extra effort for Halloween 🎃 . This was totally appreciated, by my daughters 3yo, he called it Halloween Cottage. Thank you

Cost cottage with fabulous hosts

Gorgeous cottage, with the most perfect welcome, home cooked scones in the oven. Fabulous location, quiet, but a short walk into Clifden where there are lovely restaurants and bars. Lidl and Aldi and takeaway pizza also in walking distance. The cottage is cosy and well equipped, with comfy beds. Can highly recommend.

Oor 4 day stay at the Wildflower Cottage bested any other lodgings of our 22 day stay in Ireland !

The owner Caroline was so welcoming and generous, and even introduced us to her chickens. When we asked, she invited us to pick up their fresh eggs. Every morning we were here. Caroline answered all of our questions and we give her the highest recommendations of all the places we’ve stayed in Ireland. She extended extra special attention to our wedding anniversary celebration, way beyond expectations.

It was nothing we didn’t like about her fantastic little two bedroom cottage complete with a sound system and lights, etc.

Caroline was an amazing host, and her gorgeous cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean and tidy. An added bonus were the 5 chickens on the property that we tended to during our stay. Would recommend this cottage 100%.

Excellent property and ideally suited for wining and dining in beautiful Clifden.

The location of the property was excellent and close to the lovely village of Clifden . The property is well maintained and the Host Caroline has gone to great effort to. Welcome her Guests and leaves plenty guides and ideas what to do in the area. The property has its own chickens and we availed of their fresh eggs on many a morning. ! We even sat and chatted to them with our first cup of tea in the morning.

Ideal base to explore Connemara and make friends with some chickens and lambs.

This lovely cottage was clean, very tastefully decorated and comfortable. It is deally situated in the town of Clifden to allow us walk to the local shops, restaurants and pubs. It's also very convenient to explore Connemara and Mayo. We were greeted on our arrival with the aroma of freshly baked scones, which were still in the oven and they were a welcome treat after our journey. Our host Caroline was very welcoming and provided everything needed for a pleasant stay.

There is absolutely nothing we didn't like about this cottage. It was perfect for our stay.

Great place for a family stay in Clifden.

Caroline and Marty are very welcoming hosts. They greeted us with home-baked scones and fresh eggs for breakfast. The chickens were right next to the cottage so we had fresh eggs each morning. We really liked the cottage as it was fully equipped from the kitchen, to games and even towels for the beach. There were also a washing machine and dryer.

Fabulous stay.

This charming cottage is very comfortable and clean. Caroline and Marty are lovely hosts making us feel very welcome. They had leftout toys for my one year old grandson who also loved visiting the sheep every morning. Fantastic location for exploring the Connamara area.

Super accommodation with great hosts

We had a very wonderful stay at Wildflower Cottage. Everything is available, very clean and furnished with love. Chickens live in the garden and provide fresh eggs. Caroline and Marty are such lovely hosts and welcomed us with still warm scones. We were allowed to cuddle the puppies and got a demonstration from Marty with his sheep. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back. Many thanks dear Caroline and dear Marty.

The house is just perfect. It is in the country, surrounded by sheep and chickens and still very near the centre of town. Caroline is a very good host that wants you to have the best stay! I recommend to book this lovely cottage.

This was a fun place to explore Clifden from. We biked most days and enjoyed the house when we were home. one thing to know is it is located only 10 minutes from town but it’s a steep hill to climb if you are walking. we found it healthy after dinner and music.

Really enjoyed staying in this very nice homey cottage - wish it was longer than one night!

Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed - the host even provided homemade scones waiting for us on arrival. Lots of very nice design touches around the house, plenty of local info for activities and restaurants, and even some chickens in the coop outside which sometimes means fresh eggs! Our host was extremely helpful and flexible with us.

Beautiful location with pretty much every convenience needed on site. Hosts were very accommodating and had everything laid out beautifully down to books for my daughter to keep her entertained. They had also left us fresh eggs and scones on arrival which was a beautiful touch.

Carolyn (our host), cottage, location and surroundings were all exceptional.

Carolyn was the perfect host....great communication, she made homemade scones for us, and gave us eggs from her backyard hens for breakfast. She and Marty also checked on us the a couple of times during our stay, and offered to make dinner reservations. The location was perfect for exploring Clifden (10 minute walk into town) and the surrounding Connemara area (we would highly recommend a Roundstone and the adjacent beaches, and a bike ride on Inishbofin). Very comfortable, well designed, and clean cottage with stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Overall an excellent stay....highly recommended.

Just what we wanted and needed!!

This home has so much personality and it feels like you are in Ireland, and I mean that in a very WONDERFUL way!! Hot scones, butter and jam were waiting for us when we arrived. The owners were wonderful and so easy to contact and interact with. We just loved this relaxing home/enviroment.

Really comfortable and well equipped cottage. Perfectly located in farming area but within easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. Ideal for exploring the most scenic parts of Connemara. Charming and welcoming hosts (including collie dog!). Lots of nice touches such as fresh farm eggs, logs and turf for fire, milk, butter etc in the fridge. Immaculately clean throughout.
