Great place to stay near to cape Reinga. Nothing fancy but perfect for what we needed, and good value for money. Irene was welcoming and responsive. We only used the kitchen to make a cup of tea but it seemed well equipped.

The host was very friendly and liked the location. Good bed and good basic facilities. Can't expect more than this at this rate.
In NZ Summertime (the time when we traveled), we expected a fan especially when the booking website said there was a fan available but on inquiring a response was received that the fan was not available
Also, the mosquitos! That was the main concern for us because we had a 7-year-old kid with us. One of the reasons for the fan was mosquitos (I do understand it is a farm so mosquitos are obvious but was expecting something to deteriorate)
