About this house rental

15 Acre Property with 300m of Beachfront with access down on to the beautiful Henderson Bay Beach. Awesome waves, Diving and Freediving out the front and some of the best beach fishing in Northland. If you want to be right in the action but have your own privacy as well this is the place for you and your family!
The house is currently getting ready for its first guests and once its ready I will add more photos of inside.
Max guests are 10 inside but there is ample room for camping and this can be negotiated on a case by case basis.

We had an excellent stay at Henderson Bay. The place was spotless, right on the beach, with snorkelling for our kids and tons of room to run around and play. Mark was a great communicator and we had everything we needed to have a great stay with our four kids. It’s in a great location to experience everything that the North has to offer! We would love to stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful private property with amazing views and even more stunning sunrises. House and floor plan was excellently setup for privacy for couples with the full house wrap-around deck and the cabin on-site was just an added bonus to hire for a small fee. Ok access to beach not for elderly but very safe lagoon for beach activities and gathering seafood. Massive backyard for the family to play sports kids to run around make as much noise without bothering any neighbours. Was a very enjoyable time for the whole family thanks again Mark for making us feel so welcome to this wonderful spot in the far North to visit Spirits Bay, Cape Reina, Ahipara, Kaitaia was a really great base spot, 10/10 will definitely be booked again cheers.

What a wonderful place to stay. The house is spacious with ample room for preparing and enjoying big family meals. The rooms are clean, warm and cosy. Plenty of clean linen and towels. The garden is huge with so much space for the kids to run around, camp and play sports. The beach is easily accessed by a track at the bottom of the garden. During the day there is plenty to do, Houhora is only a short drive if you're needing to top up on more supplies such as bait or beer. Great looking cafes and the pie hut was a hit. Our four year old twins were entertained on the beach most part of the day. The teens played in the rock pools and spent their time gathering kina, and spotting squid, rock cod, crabs and eels. A member of our whanau caught a massive snapper off the rocks in front of the house. In the evening it was lovely to listen to music whilst cooking and having a glass of wine. Very private. Would definately stay here again. The host Mark was very accomodating and easy to communicate with. Thanks very much. We had a great time.

This house is wonderful for a large family or two groups, a lovely track down to one of the Far north’s most stunning beaches, spacious rooms, great kitchen for feeding everyone and wonderful deck for relaxing in the sun, we will definitely be back!
