Great appartment, great location

Very nice facilities; everything was in order, and it was clean upon arrival. It was a really nice part Hamburg to stay in. Close to public transport and good affordable restaurants and cafes nearby. It also felt like a very safe part of town. Lastly; the owners are very kind.

It is somewhat far (about 5km?) from the city center, though public transport is very close (Altona st. is max 1km away). Public transport is not the cheapest in Hamburg, but still affordable. This was not a big concern of ours.

Superb

Great place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood in Hamburg. Communication with the host was smooth and the key handover and check-in procedure was very simple. The flat had everything we needed for a short-term stay and was comfortable.

While it wasn't a problem for us, it should be noted that the apartment we rented is split across two floors - ground floor and basement. The staircase to the downstairs bedrooms is quite steep, so it wouldn't be suitable for someone with mobility issues - unless they sleep on the bed-sofa upstairs.

Very cute flat in a great location -- close to public transportation, shops and restaurants.

Below ground bedrooms and bath sometimes smelled a little funky when it was raining -- though a humidifier was installed. This smell dissipated when it wasn't damp outside.

Renovated, cozy flat in a lovely area in West Hamburg

This was a lovely flat, very modern and fully renovated, in a beautiful neighborhood in Hamburg. Ideal for a couple and a 3rd person, as it is great that the rooms are separate and there is a nice double bed in one room and a comfy single bed in the second room. WiFi was great, super fast and good signal in the whole place. The apartment was located only 5 minutes away from a amazing area full with restaurants. Highly recommended!

The heating makes some noise at night every now and then, which could be an issue for people with light sleep. Parking is quite tricky and expensive, but this is something that happens rather across the whole city of Hamburg.

Exceptional

A cool, former-shop space which has been beautifully and inventively converted into a perfect apartment fit for five in the center of bustling Altona. Lots of lovely design details and thoughtful touches for a long or short-term visitor: a fully functioning kitchen, washing machine and comfortable sleep options.

The stairs into the basement where the bedrooms reside are a little on the steep side. During our stay there was a rhythmic tapping sound constantly occurring outside the biggest bedroom window, perhaps dripping water from a pipe, or something else. It was loud enough to be noticeable when trying to fall and then stay asleep.

Tolle Lage einer generell guten Unterkunft!

Hamburg Altona ist ein tolles Stadtviertel mit kleinen Läden und Gaststätten - man kommt vom Bahnhof Altona aber auch überall hin, wenn man hier einmal nicht das fnden sollte, was man braucht oder die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt besuchen möchte. Die Unterkunft wurde in ein altes Ladengeschäft hineingebaut und erstreckt sich über zwei Stockwerke, wobei das eine Stockwerk der Keller ist. Die Sauna befindet sich ebenso wie das Bad im Keller, dazu kommt dann noch der Aufenthaltsbereich oder zweites Schlafzimmer (Klappcouch) mir großem Ferneseher. Man betritt direkt die Küche wenn man von der Straße kommt. Sie ist funktional eingerichtet. Da Schlafzimmer ist geräumig und zudem gibt es noch ein halbes Zimmer dahinter- mit einem Tagesbett.

Leider ließ die Sauberkeit ein wenig zu wünschen übrig. Da große Fenster zur Straße hin (Schaufenstergröße) war offenbar seit mehreren Wochen nicht geputzt worden und schon sehr schmutzig. Es gab keine Fussmatte - obwohl das bei der Übergabe sofort auffiel und Abhilfe versprochen wurde, wurde das auch nicht nachgebessert - somit hat man den Dreck von der Straße immer mit in die Küche getragen - etaws gewöhnungsbedürftig, ständiges Staubsaugen erforderlich... In dem Kellerzimmer zogen sich die Spinnweben über die gesamte Decke - auch hier offensichtlich seit mehreren Wochen nicht entfernt. Das Schlafsofa ist ebebfalls defekt - es sind an den Ecken Holzteile herausgebrochen was dazu führt, das die ausgezogenen Fläche nicht stabil bleibt - Nachts sehr unangenehm - man rollt aus dem Bett, wenn sich die Ebenen verschieben. Die Tür der Sauna war defekt, das konnte der Vernmieter nicht nachbessern, weil wir es erst am letzen Abend gemekt haben und nicht mehr melden konnten. In der Küche gibt es alles um eine Mahlzeit zuzubereiten - aber nur drei Teller um sie dann auch zu essen. Der Tisch in der Küche ist ein Balkon- Bistro -Tisch und sehr klein. Eine Person muss zum essen auf einem sehr niedrigen Sofa sitzen, die andere auf einem unequmen Holzstuhl. Wir mussten usneren Müll in der Küche horten - es war für uns nicht ersichtlich wo dieser entsorgt werden kann. Da es sich um eine eher teure Ferienwohnung handelt - lieber Vermeiter, nicht böse gemeint, aber da ist Luft nach oben.

Tolles modernes Appartment mitten im schönen Ottensen!

Tolle Lage und das Appartement ist sehr modern, außergewöhnlich ausgestattet bzw. eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wenn wir eine Frage hatten wurde diese sehr schnell beantwortet.

Es war tatsächlich etwas hellhörig und die Betten waren für uns zu weich. Aber sonst war alles gut.

Wir haben Hamburg und insbesondere Altona und die Gegend rund um die Wohnung lieb gewonnen.

Sodastream war Highlight! Alles da was man braucht. Die Lage war sehr sehr toll.

Es war bei Ankunft etwas staubig. Nicht schlimm, wir sind hier sensibel, weil mein Sohn Stauballergie hat.

Lage, Ausstattung der Wohnung super! Gemütliche Betten. Sehr viele Platz. Super, dass Nespresso Tabs da sind, Spüli und Geschirrtuch. Nette Umgebung und coole Geschäfte in der Nähe.

Spinnen und Spinnweben um Lampen und Ecken. Es war sehr kühl in der Wohnung, da draußen Regenwetter bei 15 Grad war. Wo war Gartenanteil und Sauna, nur interessehalber.

Einfach alles! Die Lage war absolut genial. Ein urbanes Viertel voller netter kleinen Läden und sehr guter Gastronomischer Vielfalt. Einfach nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Sehr schöne, gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft, in der alles Nötige vorhanden war. Außerdem befindet sich die Unterkunft in einer top Lage mit einer tollen Atmosphäre und ganz vielen Cafés, Bars, Restaurants und Läden. Auch die Kommunikation mit den Betreiber*innen war unkompliziert und schnell, sie waren außerdem sehr hilfsbereit!

Mitten in Altona und doch ruhig gelegen!

Die Wohnung Backbord ist nagelneu. Die Ausstattung ist vorbildlich und alles sauber! Die Schlüsselübergabe und der Kontakt unkompliziert. Die Lage der Wohnung war für unseren Aufenthalt perfekt.Kleine Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Altona ist ein quirliges und schönes Viertel. Für Mai ist bereits gebucht.
