Much better villas for a similar price in Canggu.

Not much

Hard to find down very narrow alley. Very tired and dated. The most uncomfortable living area with a sofa that was too narrow and uncomfortable to sit on. Paving around the pool was very rough and hard to walk on. The first night I went to go to bed and there was no top sheet - just a light comforter. When I questioned it the next day I was told that’s always the way they make the beds, although they did fix it.

The best place to stay in Bali!!

This was undoubtedly the best Villa/ Hotel I've ever stayed at!! It was wonderful. quiet.. nobody else around except the farmer that tends the rice patties and beautiful Balinese cattle. Short walk to the beach which was beautiful. no other tourists.. Just local families in the late afternoon enjoying their beach. We were provided with an amazing lady that cooked us our included breakfast and an optional dinner which we loved! She was always smiling!! This place was the highlight of our Bali stay!

Quite and spacious villa in secluded area

That was a really pleasant experience to stay at the villa. It’s located in a very quite and peaceful place, it’s buried in verdure, the villa is spacious and well designed. The host and co-host are kind and immediately responsive.

For some travelers, it could be uncomfortable to see so many living creatures inside the house. And it’s not about mosquitoes or flies only, there are different flying beetles, ants, geckos and even frogs. Not critical, but can be disturbing for sensitive people. Breakfast was freshly made, but it was the same every morning. Without a scooter, it could be not very easy to get some food (just one or two eateries nearby, no grab/gojek delivery, main road is not walkable), calling a taxi could be an issue too.

A nice, quiet villa in local Bali

Nyoman (the manager) and Nyoman (the housekeeper) were both lovely people and helped make our stay a pleasant one. The grounds of the villa are beautiful and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were greeted late on for check in and allowed to check out late while waiting for our taxi. There is drinking water both inside the villa and in the outdoor kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped to cook proper meals. Nyoman was on hand to help with any issues which we really appreciated. It was also great having access to a washer and dryer so we could do our own laundry.

Unless you have a scooter it is not easy to explore the surrounding areas. There are warungs nearby but there is only one option when ordering in food to eat at the villa (no Grab or Gojek). The outdoor bathroom was ok but it wasn't always pleasant to share the toilet with various insects - all part of the experience I suppose. The TV didn't work well and there were no smart TV capabilities - not usually an issue but we had quite a bit of rain which kept us inside. This is a great place for a family or friends who want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of Bali, but we found it quite limiting - this isn't a criticism as we knew it was in a quiet area before we booked. The main road isn't particularly pleasant to walk on so I really would recommend getting a scooter if you stay here. Breakfast was very limited, with eggs the only option other than a banana pancake - after a week we were ready for a change.
