Hotel Sekitei

朝、夕食ともよかった。

夕食のすき焼きの肉が少ない。

部屋や大浴場からの眺望、５Fのお部屋だったので甲府盆地と遠くに南アルプスや富士山を眺めることが出来ました。眼下にはお庭の池に錦鯉が泳ぎ、風情もありました。

紹介写真程豪華ではなく、普通の和室。施設の老朽化が目立ち、壁紙の剝がれや塗装の剥落が目立った。お庭は立派なんですが、手入れが行き届いておらず残念な感じになっている。少しずつでも改修や設備更新をされた方が良いのではないかと思った。業者に頼まなくても出来るとこはあるのではないかと思う。元々が立派な設備なのに少しずつ残念なところが重なっている。

This was a last minute change in our itinerary because we were missing the ryokan life. I’m very glad we found this place. The hotel was modern and classy, while also friendly and traditional. The room was comfortable and the baths were very nice. The staff was excellent and took great care of us. The best part was the dinner. I have to say it was one of the best keiseki meals of all three of my trips to Japan combined. Everything about it was top notch and we were very impressed. We used this location as a jumping off point between the Kyoto area and Fuji, and it worked very well.
