A taste of heaven!
I LOVED this location! Being in a lovely apartment, within a local family's home, was marvelous. The home is set on a mountainside, overlooking a lush beautiful Alpine valley-one couldn't ask for a more splendid view! It is quiet and remote, allowing the peaceful retreat so often needed. It offered all of the comforts of home, including WiFi and free parking! Additionally, just off of their yard, there is a hiking path that ties into a whole network of hiking trails that span the region-this was such a pleasant surprise! There is a market in the nearby village, so supplies are readily available, as well as a couple of restaurants and a filling station for fuel. If I could rate this higher than a 10, I would. I was blessed and impressed with this lodging in every single way.
I LOVED everything about this lovely property, so I cannot think of one single thing to say negatively.

excellent holiday in Luson
Well equipped, clean and quiet apartment located in a traditional house, in the middle of nature. About 2km from Luson, a charming village. Don't miss Laghetto of the village. Effective reception by Angela.

Extremely friendly host (family), with amazing accommodation on a farm. Perfect for children.
Fresh eggs and milk (from their local farm --cows, poultry--) are available at a very reasonable price from the host. Children could also experience how milk was collected from cows ("mungere le mucche" in Italian). Perfect location to experience local (South Tyrol) rural life. Luson is a quiet small town where most people know each other. Relatively easy to reach by Train (Nearest station about 15 kms away --Bresannone/Brixen, Bus and Taxi service from station to accommodation available). Hosts (Claudia and Martin) provided almost every (additional) thing we requested (even helped us to buy things from supermarket). Our children were a bit noisy but felt so much comfortable with the family (and their children). There are few places that you stay on a holiday and feel you are part of that family/town. Gedrarzerhof is one of them.
Would recommend a microwave (although we could heat our food on the electric hot plate stove).
