Rooms were very clean with tea, coffee and biscuits. All toiletries in the bathroom.

Would have liked to eat at the hotel but it closed early ( 7pm ) with no food .

Good breakfast, staff were very polite and helpful

Bed was a little uncomfortable, pillows were too firm

From a value for money perspective, this was excellent. A lovely family room which we were able to use that evening, having checked in earlier. The breakfast was lovely but with hindsight I only needed a small breakfast rather than the big one! I would recommend this place and certainly would stay again if in the area.

It is opposite a Morrisons and the staff member who greeted us was kind and welcoming. The cleaning staff were also just as friendly, we appreciated this. Good quality pillows and bed. The room was nice and tidy with a nice amount of space and storage.

The smell of sewage was overwhelming. You can smell it as soon as you walk in and up the stairs of the hotel, the room didn’t which was a relief, but the bathroom did, so we had to make sure we kept the door closed. Naturally if there is a sewage problem in the area it is not the Hotels fault as such but it is worth knowing. The parking is also tight and a small area. When someone parks slightly off, it makes the parking harder than it needs to be, but again, this is the car owners not the hotel. I didn’t get an opportunity to speak with anyone because we left when only the cleaning staff were around and returned when the pub was closed.
