It’s a charming inn with a great deal of history. The hosts were very friendly and interacted with us all. Breakfast was wonderful in their lovely sunroom, and the home baked bread was amazing! The inn was very quiet, even with our three rooms so close. Our bed was comfy and the room was cozy.
The tiny bathroom had a very loud fan connected to the light. The shower was difficult to adjust but, once we got the hang of it, it was fine. The closet had a bit of musty smell so we didn’t use it.

Breakfast choices were excellent. Fabulous cooked food and big pot of fresh tea! Variety of teas in the bedroom too. Lots of helpful advice on where to eat dinner.

Lovely hosts, very welcoming, a very cosy b & b and a very tasty breakfast. Room was very comfortable and smelled lovely on arrival. You wouldn't know you are close to Chesterfield, but it is very easy to get to
Nothing bad to report, genuinely enjoyed my stay there.
