Excellent location in the Jordaan district, within walking distance of the canals, restaurants, shops, canal cruises, Anne Frank House, and many other attractions. Michel was friendly and welcoming, meeting us upon arrival and offering helpful restaurant recommendations. If you want to stay in the heart of Amsterdam, this is a great location.
The steep, narrow staircase may be difficult for guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. The room and facilities were compact, although that is common in historic Amsterdam buildings. We could hear other guests returning late at night on both evenings of our stay.

Nine Streets Inn is in a great location. It's very clean(!) and the host is very responsive... to the extent that he is prepared to be.
While the "Inn" in its name can make you think it's an actual hotel, it's really more of an Air BNB. The beds and pillows leave a bit to be desired (and there was no alternative pillow available).
