Good apartment, but it can get quite cold and the heating didn't work for us.

location was fine - close to restaurants and stores. There were plenty of transport options within a few minutes walk.

It was quite cold in the apartment and the central heating didn't work. The kids were constantly complaining that they need to be wearing a lot of clothing inside due to being cold.

It’s ok but has shortcomings!

The apartment itself was fine. Quite big. Modern kitchen & bathroom. Clean. Adelina was lovely when she met us to access the property.

Doesn’t look like the pics. We paid £10 per night for on site parking which was in a lot a good 5-7 mins walk from apartment. Access to apartment is a pain, so many fobs, upstairs, downstairs & into lift. The sofa in lounge is gross, stained badly. I covered with a spare sheet. Lots of marks on the walls, the rug in lounge ripped. Apart from kitchen & laundry, it’s shabby. AND we had to agree to a £500 bond!! I was expecting a palace for that and it certainly wasn’t! To return key we had to drive car out through electronic gate & then walk all the way back to apartment, up & down stairs and lift to leave keys on table. A lockbox outside would be a huge improvement.

Not central needed public transport to access restaurants etc. Lift available but between floors so bags still needed to be carried up some stairs

Classy, comfortable beds and accommodations in a great neighborhood

The apartment was a perfect oasis. We loved the location a little on the outskirts of town. Lyon has excellent train/bus/metro/tram service for getting around.

It took a little practice getting used to. The transportation and the suburban but it worked well you know how to navigate it.

Nice apartment

Large apartment in a gated complex. It was exceptionally clean with washing machine and dryer. Excellent communication with owner who met us on arrival. You can catch the bus into the central part of town but it is a leisurely 20 min walk along the river anyway .closer to the museum of confluences than we thought. The Lyon card was excellent value to explore. Excellent supermarket not far away, Good quality kitchen equipment for home catering .

We were only 2 people but had to pay extra after booking.com to have the second bedroom unlocked . Beds were firm.

The property was very clean and had everything you need. The balcony was a nice touch and the location was good, we were about 10 minutes away from all major sites in Lyon. The host Marie was very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this place for a nice peaceful stay in Lyon

Cheap property manager

The location of the property was close to Confluence, old town and attractions. The property is well maintained and cleaned.

The property did not have the basic supplies like shower soap/gel, shampoo, laundry detergent washer/dryer. The kitchen did not have kitchen towels to wipe. Just 2 plates. Granted France does not have air conditioned houses, and there was a heat wave going on in Lyon. But it was 3rd heat wave of the season, and the property manager did not provide fans in each room, when asked, they suggested to take a dip in swimming pool. This is poor planning, and management. We had to sleep with windows open and had to battle with mosquitoes. You could see that the property manager had skimped (went cheap) on basic supplies.

Apartment needs to be fixed up for next customers

The only thing I can say it’s a residential apartment.

There’s several things that unexpectedly happened. First the owner required a 500 euro cash deposit. As a traveler, I can’t imagine to carry that much cash. Till almost midnight, she sent me a link for deposit with credit card. It’s so inconvenient. Secondly, there are several things were broken: fan in one bedroom was not working at all in such a hot summer, one lamp was broken in another bedroom. These were so uncomfortable. Third, most disappointing was laundry. The owner required me to buy laundry detergent as she claimed hers had personal fragrance. In fact there’s no laundry detergent. Plus dryer was broken. This was the main reason I booked, which didn’t meet my expectation. Last but least, she made me to pay cash for parking and city tax at the end. Forgot to mention that location was not ideal, about 20 minutes walk to center, which was not a good idea in summer.

Exceptional

Our host went above and beyond to help us find the building (Uber dropped us off on the wrong side of the block), and when I mistakenly locked our key in our room she was so quick to help give us another key to get in. She was amazing in every way! I found the best address to get dropped at the gate by was going to 29 Rue du Lieutenant-Colonel Girard.

Nice place to stay for 4 or even 6 people. Quiet, clear, with all working devices. Everything is exactly as described.

There is a coffee-machine, but no coffee tablets for that. There is a dish-washing machine, but no tablets for that. There were no sugar / salt / oil at the kitchen, whish is unusual. We bought it and left for next guests.

Very clean, well-equipped apartment, in a residential area. Comfortable and quiet. Friendly hosts.

The neighbour is constantly smoking and we had to keep the balcony doors closed most of the day. We couldn't use the balcony because of strong cigarette smell.

It does not concern the apartment, but in the entrance of the building it smelled like garbage. Not very nice. But in the apartment there was NO problem with any smell.

Quite neighbourhood near the center

Very nice host, was very responsive and helpful. We had a flat tire and had to check out later. The host was very understanding and let us leave our stuff at the appartement until the car was ready. The location is in a quite residential area, good for families. If you don't mind walking a bit or taking a bus, it is an excellent location to discover Lyon.

We were there on exceptionally hot days (over 30°C) and the appartement got a bit stuffy, but opening the windows let a cool breeze in and we had no trouble sleeping.

The situation near the Berges du Rhône was good it wasn’t far to the métro for visiting further afield It was quiet and the balcony was great for breakfast Marie was very nice and it was easy to contact her the kitchen was well equipped there was plenty of room there was a supermarket and a bakery close by the shower was excellent-easy to use and plenty of hot water

There was a heatwave and one of the bedroom ceiling fans wasn’t working so very hot The tv was a bit complicated! A ventilator in the living room would be good for summer The lift wasn’t working at first but soon fixed and we used the stairs anyway but three floors may be a problem for some people I think a folder of instructions like British holiday homes have would be useful. most things were easy to use but for example we weren’t told where to put rubbish and had to ask. Recycling also didn’t seem to be in evidence though we did find some bins outside.

Great clean spacious apartment! With a super friendly host!

At the start it was a little bit tricky to get in and out of the main gate but once we knew the trick it was super easy! The host, Marie, was really friendly and shared some nice tips for resto/bars in the area. The apartment was clean, spacious and with a very nice terrace!

The location was not in the city center so it did involve some walking (min 30minutes) to get to the "place to be" (e.g. vieux Lyon); nevertheless the walk was alongside the river so very nice and at night taxi worked perfectly to bring us back to the apartment.

Le parking, payant, mais bon parking quand même . Essentiel pour être tranquille . En revanche nous étions éloignés du coup du vieux Lyon mais très proches du Rhône et de Confluence. En revanche bonne literie.

Appartement vraiment pour 4 personnes grand maximum. Un unique canapé 2 places au salon . Les soirées n'étaient du coup pas conviviales dans la mesure où nous devions nous asseoir soit par terre soit sur des tabourets. ( Très peu confortables). Cela mérite des assises supplémentaires. Bonne literie mais couettes très légères et chauffage un peu juste dans l'appartement en plein mois de décembre. Nous avons eu un peu froid. Tv inutilisable lorsque nous sommes arrivés.... La propriétaire était au courant. Bon , nous ne sommes pas venus pour regarder la TV mais si nous étions venus avec des enfants , pour la soirée cela aurait été problématique. La dame avec qui nous étions en contact un peu trop insistante concernant les horaires d'arrivée , de départ.... Et très expéditive à l'arrivée pour les explications....
