Picturesque stay in the hillsides

We really enjoyed the surroundings, the greenery, the quietness, the nice view. The apartment had everything we needed and the hosts were very forthcoming. All in all we had a lovely stay. (The fireflies at night were very surreal)

For some it might be too far to drive to the beach, but we didnt mind. (Within 30 min) Id personally go lighter on the fragrance in the room, but easily fixable by placing it elsewhere.

Internet not working - no compensation. Garbage collection costs an additional €50.

The apartment is nice although small. It is very well kept with shared outdoor space. Tranquil area and parking is easy.

It was supposed to have WiFi, but it was not working. We needed the internet and ended up spending much more money to fund our own internet. I expected at least a partial refund, but it was not offered. Also there was a washing machine but I could not find a clothes horse where to hang any washed clothes or anywhere else where I could hang them so I ended up giving up washing the dirty clothes. Also, there is a long process to check in. You have to put a lot of details of each person, one by one. More details than I had to provide to the airline when I bought the ticket, name, address, ID number, date of birth, residential address and more I think. Also when we arrived we saw a note on the door that rubbish have to be taken with you and if you leave them behind you are fined another €50. This is unacceptable to me. With the lugguage booth full of lugguages I had not planned for the garbage too. Aircondition was only available in two bedrooms. No AC in kitchen, nor in the dining room and nor in the other room where the sofa bed was.

The apartment is in a beautiful location, close to the city and the sea. Very calm and quiet. There is a large private parking lot next to the apartment. The host welcomed us and showed us around the apartment.

Nice apartment in a quiet area.

The apartment is located in a quiet area of Rapallo, which was one of our key characteristics during selection. It was partly underground and pretty cool inside even without using the aircon. The shower was large enough for comfortable bath. The aircon -when was needed- cooled down the rooms fast. Free parking place at the apartment.

The rule of take the garbage with us I still do not understand at all. Three people after a week stay generate quite some garbage: seriously, are we obliged to take it all with us for journey of 920 km? (We had to take it and find large trash containers in the city: I am 52, travelled all over the world from Mexico to Japan, but have not experienced anything like that. Even legally, to rent out an apartment without trash collection service is a question mark for me (at least in the European Union). Actually we have got an other apartment, than booked: one partly underground each window facing a stone wall 50 cm away. At the end, this arrangement had benefit as well, as this was most probably the coolest apartment of the 3 available, so we did not mind at the end (though those who rent it for a day only might rather see the negative side only). Some other small things could be improved according to the opinion of my family: - a larger knife to slice bred would be necessary; - 2 roll of toilet paper is not enough for 3 people for 7 days (we had to buy additional ones); - same problem with the amount of garbage bags; - it was nice to have sparkling wine in the fridge, would be even nicer to have proper glass for it (we drunk it from a water glass).

Excellent stay in a spacious and well-kept apartment

This is such a great apartment and if you're traveling in the region with car, it's at a beautiful location quite high up in the hills. The apartment is very spacious and has two bedrooms, a tv room, a dining room and a kitchen. It feels modern and well-kept. Host is very friendly and helpful.

Upon booking I got bombarded with automatic confirmation messages, some of which had contradicting instructions for how to leave visitor information and how to check in. The host was very friendly though and clarified the situation, and I got the impression this was a transition thing that was going to be worked out.

Great value close to Portofino

Great location with good value for money if you want to stay close to Portofino for a day. It is in a quiet village. Apartment was very clean. Parking is not an issue at all.

While the apartment is in Rapallo, which is very close to Portofino, the traffic may still be an issue. Just be prepared for that.

Very disappointing. We strongly discourage booking at this place. More trouble than it's worth.

The place is spacious enough and has a nice view. It was clean and parking is free.

We never saw or spoke to anybody but received constant messages to do x, y and z, including messages to leave the city tax on the table and send a photo of it!!?? The bedrooms are on the small side, the beds kind of flimsy and they only had sheets and a thin cover. Only one blanket for four people. The aircon units are not working or at least we cannnot get them to work because the remote batteries are a hundred years old and are leaking. The heaters do not work. Despite charging an extortionate 60 Euros cleaning fee, the coffee pot was still full of coffee and fungus.!! The place is quite far out of town by a narrow road but the real issue is that the ramp up to the house is very steep and has bumps which are bad for the undercarriage. In spite of being in the countryside the area is quite noisy in the evening. The place seems to be managed remotely and anonymously by people who do not care much for the wellbeing of their clients.

Posizione carina ma appartamento puzzolente…

Sicuramente la posizione, proprio all’entrata di Rapallo ed il fatto che fosse immersa nel verde.

L’appartamento che ci è stato assegnato presentava un forte odore di muffa e di chiuso, davvero insopportabile. La prima notte non sono riuscita a dormire a causa della puzza. Il giorno successivo, dopo le mie lamentele, il problema è stato “risolto” spruzzando una grande quantità di deodorante, che ha solo coperto temporaneamente l’odore senza eliminarne la causa. Ritengo quindi che, vista la puzza e il disagio arrecato, potrebbero evitare di affittare l’appartamento, anche perché l’host era chiaramente a conoscenza del problema. Dopo aver pagato bei soldini, avrebbero quantomeno potuto restituire una percentuale dell’importo versato per il disagio subito.

Bellísimo

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso in questo appartamento. Si trova in una zona molto tranquilla, in alto sulla montagna, con una vista semplicemente incredibile: pace, silenzio e natura pura. La casa è impeccabile, pulitissima e curata in ogni dettaglio. C’è davvero tutto quello che può servire: stoviglie complete, lavatrice, macchina del caffè, bollitore… non manca assolutamente nulla. Un ringraziamento speciale all’host, una persona gentilissima e attentissima. Al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto trovare tanti piccoli regali: prosecco, olio d’oliva della zona, dolci, caffè… un’accoglienza che scalda il cuore. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e a casa fin dal primo momento. Un posto perfetto per rilassarsi e staccare davvero la spina. Torneremmo senza pensarci due volte. Consigliatissimo!

Nulla, ci è piaciuto tutto. L’unica cosa da tenere in considerazione è che è necessario avere l’auto, perché l’appartamento si trova in una zona tranquilla e isolata. Per noi non è stato un problema, anzi, fa parte del fascino del posto.

Sehr gerne wieder!!!

Unsere Neuntägige Reise durch Italien ist hier richtig gut und angenehm weitergegangen. Super Wohnung. Sehr sauber. Gemütlich. Zwei Schlafzimmer. Groses Wohnzimmer. Küche voll eingerichtet. Geschir alles da und auch supersauber. Parkplatz im Hof - Goldwert! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wunderbare Luft. Atemberaubende Aussicht!!! Ein Zusatzbonus zu unsere Reise.

L’hôtel est disponible et très gentil ! Nous avons pu bénéficier de petites attentions sur place ce qui nous a énormément fait plaisir ! La place de parking est un véritable plus ! Concernant l’emplacement c’est à 5/10min du centre de rapallo où vous pouvez prendre le bateau pour portofino mais aussi les 5 terres selon la période !

Appartement très propre très confortable. Au calme. Entendre les grillons... A peu de distance de ts les jolis sites à visiter. Mieux vaut avoir une voiture. Paraît loin de la ville. En fait c’est un leurre. Surtout aller manger au u giancu original très bon très sympa et bon rapport qualité prix

War alles perfekt

Wir waren mit Hund da und er konnte frei auf dem Grundstück laufen. Parkplatz war auch direkt auf dem Grundstück. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es jedem weiterempfehlen. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und war immer für alles da.
