Location , comfortable beds , neutral decor , clean

There was no heating and the room was freezing cold. I had to ask for a portable radiator , the heating system was not working in our room.

What did I like.... Nothing, in consideration not even the price makes things even mildly ok...

The hotel is noisy, dirty and of very poor quality. In addition the communication with this hotel was horrible. We wanted to "check-in early" for just the code / access, so we could spend the afternoon with the family we were visiting. We asked for a 11-12 period to drop by and just do the formalities. No.... Was the answer after 24 hours. Then another 24 hours later the answer was that the reception was limited open but we could do the registration on the outside automation 24/7... But obviously only after the 14:00 start time.... Which is why I contacted in the first place. Almost as if I spend ~40 nights on average in hotels and Booking.com is just the backup for when my regular chain isn't available. Upon finally arriving, the morning opening hours are till 11..... It would've been a single note of "try before 11 and we will see what we can do" that would've started things very much differently. The lack of communication had me consider alternatives as I could cancel right up to 14:00... I regret this to have remained a consideration because the poor communication was the least of the final list of frustrations. Noisy is an understatement, you can hear several floors above and below you. You hear the people walking outside, not just them talking, no their footsteps while things are closed. This place is as noisy with doors and windows open as it is with them closed. Dirty... The floor was sticky to the point you have to wonder if they use coca cola to clean with. The bathroom was worse with the nastiest of stains and the only clean thing appeared to have been the linnen. Linnen on a bed hard enough to smash rocks on. Quality. Air conditioning wasn't working, could only heat. Air circulation was absent for effectiveness as the holes in the bathroom to the outside meant the bathroom was fresh and cool, but the rest of the room was stagnant, humid and smelly. There were three outlets in the room and 1 usb wall plug.

self check in didnt work we had to stay 45 min waiting under the sun to speak with the operator , the bathroom door didnt open properli as there was the second bed on the way.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable.

We could have benefited by having a fridge.

What Staff? Didn't see any. Car park confusion. It was a local pay & display but we didn't have to pay. Thanks to a local who told us.
