Big House Colosseum

Location is verry good

Location was excellent a couple of minutes walk from the Colosseum, air-conditioning in the rooms that had it worked well. Beds were comfortable and showers adequate.

No air conditioning in the master bedroom. The apartment was very sparse. ‘Balcony with city views’ comprised of a tiny, and i mean tiny space ( large enough for a single chair) that came off the bathroom looking onto a drab service yard! no view of the city! We stayed five nights but there was no option to have our towels changed at any point, The weather was baking so we were all showering at least twice daily, It would’ve been nice to have had clean towels halfway through our stay. The key to the main door from the outside did not work which is just one of those things that happens sometimes, host was able to buzz us into the building when we rang her on her mobile phone. However she told us that she was not able to do this all the time and that we just have to keep trying with the key (which definitely did not work). she was unable to suggest any other ways around and seemed quite unconcerned that we were a family with young children potentially locked out of the building any time of day or night. Luckily the key issue got sorted when one of the neighbours had the lock fixed. i’m not sure what we would’ve done otherwise, possibly had to pay for another hotel but by this point all our luggage was trapped inside.
