The location of this apartment was absolutely great. It was easy to locate and then to walk from to many attractions in the city. The host, Michele, was very good at explaining everything. In addition, he helped us leave our small bags for free in a nearby bar. We arrived very early and it would be hard for us to walk around the city during a very warm day even with small bags. He saved us a locker fee (lockers are very close to the apartment on the same street. The apartment is well equipped with everything one needs.

The traffic and people noise on a very busy street was pretty high. Fortunately, we are very experienced travelers and ALWAYS carry the good earplugs with us. Michele also provided earplugs on a side table for the guests, which is a good idea. Because owners of the apartments put photos of their numerous places altogether on Booking.com one never knows which apartment one gets. I think we would prefer to know that our apartment is on a street level.

This is a great place to stay if you'd like to visit Bologna. Pretty much everything is within walking range, or alternatively you'd take public transportation. Hosts are very supportive answering questions to get the most out of your stay!

The location was great, 20 minute walk to the old town, coffee house right next to the location.

The entrance of the apartment is directly on the sidewalk on one of the main roads. For this reason it can be a bit noisy during the night, the windows are new but because it's a historical building the door is not blocking any of the outside noise. Also, the apartment could use a small upgrade with the bathroom fan, the moisture is not evacuated properly and there is a damp smell.
