Great place to stay with an amazing view on the lion rock, nice pool and restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helped us with tuktuk and taxi rides to our next destination.

Lack of food availability late night

Location: 10/10! You can reach pretty much every destination easily, and Lion’s Rock is only a 20-minute walk away, surrounded by monkeys and peacocks. Whenever a place isn’t within walking distance, the hotel’s driver will take you wherever you want to go. Moreover, the hotel staff can book any activity you’d like to do (massage, Lion’s Rock hike, etc.). Hotel: The room and bathroom were spotless. We had no problems with mosquitoes or any other insects you might find outside (if you’re an insect freak like me! 😊). The bed was very comfortable, and the large windows made the room bright and pleasant. The pool was impressively clean, and the water was the perfect temperature for Sri Lanka’s warm weather. The view of Lion’s Rock is simply breathtaking—you can admire it directly from the balcony. Staff: Because it was the off-season, we were the only guests at the hotel. Nevertheless, the kitchen was always open for us, no matter the time. The staff organized every activity we wanted, drove us wherever we needed to go, and gave us excellent recommendations for the rest of our trip around Sri Lanka. Everyone truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Last but not least, our flight to Sri Lanka was canceled, and we had to cancel one night of our reservation. The hotel kindly accepted the cancellation free of charge, which we greatly appreciated.

However, the hotel’s driver (who drove us from Sigiriya to Kandy) was great for short distances but we didn’t feel safe during our 4-hour drive to Kandy.

There were no dustbin. Internet connextivity problems and not smooth. Walls not clean. Lizard in room. Curtains too short of glass doors.
