The Stonehouse

The Stonehouse is a little gem in the heart of St Julian’s that stays with you long after you leave. I first stumbled upon it while visiting Malta for my best friend’s wedding, and two stays later, it has become my home away from home and first choice whenever I return. The house beautifully blends traditional Maltese character with Cathy’s unique style and adventurous flair. It’s exceptionally clean, well equipped and thoughtfully designed. The location is incredibly central in st Julian’s and 2 mins from local bus stops, close to everything you need. My favourite room is the penthouse, Topaz - a bright, charming space at the highest point of the house with beautiful 360° views, spacious terrace and wonderful energy. Cathy, the owner and host, brings warmth and unique personality to the Stonehouse and makes you feel instantly at home. She cares for her guests with such genuine warmth and thoughtfulness, and her attention to detail and hospitality are truly unmatched. She’s also a skipper and brilliant source of recommendations for exploring the island. A beautiful, soulful place where you can truly relax. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough 🩵
