Magical place in stunning surroundings! Wow!!!

The beauty is truly mesmerizing!! The food, including the free breakfast, best in Bali so far!! Wow! Easily walk to many neat things. Easy pickup for tours. Peaceful place to just be! We ended up eating all but one meal here as it was so great to take it all in and enjoy!! Wow!!

Highly recommend for staying here!

Spent 2 nights at Sun Suko Boutique Resort. First we were surprised that in life the unit itself and all territory was much better than the photos at Booking.com Very many sweet details, very cosy atmosphere, quiet, clean. Right away you can tell much love and effort put into the resort. But the best is the staff - provide good service, polite and very lovely. The pool is beautiful, deep and good and big enough even for swimming. AC and WiFi worked well as well. Last and not least - had dinner in the cafe on the territory and food was great. Good parking in front in case as we you travel by car. Not often I put a rate of 10 for quality feedback - but this is the case. Thank you for the stay! And warm hello and thank you to all staff.

This is an extraordinary oasis down a small street off the main road in a relatively quiet village in the Pemuteran area. The rooms and grounds and pool are immaculately clean, constantly maintained, and artfully decorated. The owner, Anja, was formerly a fashion designer and her sense of style is evident everywhere. The food is very tasty and high-quality. The breakfasts are so large that we usually took home a portion of them to eat later. They make a homemade dark brown bread that was the best we have had anywhere in Bali.. It’s just a half-kilometer walk to the main road where there are good restaurants, small grocery stores, laundries, and shops. They have free bicycles to use, if you would rather not walk. Sun Suko is happy to arrange any tours you want, as well as drivers and shopping. They offer a wide variety of tour packages, as well as on-site massage and yoga. We took the snorkeling tour to Menjangan Island and it was amazing. Best snorkeling we have ever experienced. We also took the birding tour into Bali Barat National Park and were able to see the Bali starling and many other cool birds.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property, service, or location. However, Sun Suko takes a cut of everything you arrange through them: tours, massages, drivers, etc. The prices for everything that you arrange through Sun Suko are higher than the prices you would be charged if you arranged it yourself. It’s nice to have them organize everything and you know you are getting quality, reliable service when you book through them, so it’s worth the extra cost in my opinion. But if you are on a budget, you can save money by hiring your own drivers, arranging your own tours, and finding your own masseuse.

Such a perfect stay in a perfect place - a slice of heaven

Everything. Such a beautiful property that is maintained perfectly and spotlessly clean. The location is idyllic with just 9 rooms in separate buildings surrounding a beautiful pool that we used everyday. From almost everywhere in the property there is a beautiful view of the mountains which was probably the best from our upstairs room, with a beautiful balcony. The breakfast was really good, as was the dinner and we made use of the spa facilities having massages and facials whilst we were there, which were really excellent. One of the things that makes the property stand out, apart from the lovely location with beautiful views, was the staff who were all so friendly and professional and happy to help in any way they could. Would definitely come back if returning to Pemuteran, and apart from the snorkeling in Pilau Menjangan Island (which was wonderful), Sun Suko would be the main reason to return - so beautiful. Also loved their cat

Incredible accommodation in peaceful part of Bali

It’s hard to begin, it was all so nice! The overall decor of the rooms is extraordinary. Very artful and individually selected. Wonderful pool area, delicious breakfasts with fresh baked croissants, helpful staff that sets up nearby excursions/ snorkeling trips. There are beautiful views of the mountains from the patios and pool area. The garden is pretty with interesting local statues. There is also a yoga studio.

My only disappointment was there were no yoga classes, but maybe hard to get an instructor in this area.

This place is amazing , I totally recommend it 100 % to anyone visiting Pemuteran . The owner is taking care of everything and is really present at any time even if she wasn’t there , the staff is amazing . They are really kind and think of the little details to make your stay comfortable. For my first night , they knew I would go out for my activities early in the morning so they prepared me a little breakfast box .. Each room has a special theme and it makes the place so special and unique . Everything was very clean . The spa services are really good also . The food also . I had an amazing stay , thank you Sun Suko team .

Sun Suko is a highly recommendable starting point to all kinds of activities in the Northwest! The snorkelling in Menjangan which we booked directly via the hotel is a short drive away and the diversity of underwater life was world class. During our stay, the warm-hearted Sun Suko crew took great care of us and was a big help regarding our planning and other wishes. We also loved the yummy and healthy breakfast, the nice Yoga Shala and the amazing mountain view from our room!

A true holiday with an emotional truth to it that lifted our spirits.

The breakfast was excellent. Polite, cheerful staff and more than adequate food. The view from our room was stunning - fine mountains which we never tired of looking at. Clean, safe, serene. Ari, the Yoga instructor, was stimulating and a great teacher.

Extraordinary experience!

We loved everything about Sun Suko! This is a very special place indeed. Anja the owner and her wonderful team go above and beyond to make every guest welcome and comfortable. The rooms ( I was fortunate to see most of them during my stay) are all beautifully and individually designed and furnished, with great attention to detail and all well positioned around the pool and with mountain and garden views. The hotel is ideally placed between the ocean and mountains, on a quiet road, but still easy to walk, cycle ( there are free bikes) to the beach, restaurants, nearby temples etc. The breakfast is amazing and all meals we had were delicious and very healthy! We stayed over Christmas and in the evening all guests were invited for a special dinner and Balinese dancing. We felt very at home and were very sad to leave! If you are considering going to Pemuteran, this is the place to stay - it’s magical!

Everything! Friendly staffs welcome guests and help to arrange activites. Rooms and other facilities are nicely decorated and also perfectly clean, even vanilla aroma candles at our room welcomed us when coming back from a day tour. A restaurant provides healthy and fresh food.

Small hotel with rooms im bungalows with one storey around a garden and swimming pool.. The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully designed with lots of nice details and with a different colour palette for each room..local flair with contemporary design and a unique design for each room. And so spacious The swimming pool with lovely trees around is fantastic. The breakfast is very good with various options and the location of the breakfast room- open to the garden is great. The staff is super nice and accommodating ( late checkout) They pay attention to the environment and put glass bottles in the rooms that can be refilled. Located in fhe middle of Pemuteran so one can walk to other restaurants and the beach

Very nice location - they have an amazing garden, very well taken care of - extremely attentive staff, great food and everything is decorated so tastefully! :)

If you want to reach other restaurants or the beach, there is quite a walk and especially in the evening might get a bit dark on the road. But we personally did not mind the walk, and everyone you meet on your way is so nicely greeting you. Also my opinion only, the hot stone massage was ok - but was not as good as I would have expected.

Unforgettably soul fulfilling.

I stayed here for one night as I was travelling to a different location but my friend decided to stay a further 3 days as he realized this was exactly the place he needed. Anja, her daughter Natja and all the staff were so kind and caring, they wanted nothing more than to make your experience at Sun Suko something never to be forgotten. If you're looking for a stunning property with amazing food, an incredible pool, fantastic massages, yoga, the kindest staff, the most comfortable and stylish room I've found so far in Bali then definitely stay at Sun Suko, it will stay in your heart for a very long time.

Relaxing, energising…. perfect!

Everything! Anja obviously has an incredible talent for design and has created a beautiful luxurious peaceful retreat which is the perfect hideaway to relax in. Each room has been thoughtfully designed and furnished with a different theme in mind making them fun and quirky. Rooms were large with extremely comfortable beds and all had outdoor verandas from which to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains and jungle. We loved the bathrooms which connected with the outdoors. All was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Restaurant was fantastic serving breakfast lunch and dinner - all locally sourced ingredients cooked fresh to order. We were so impressed we ate there every night! We had only booked a 3 night stay but were so impressed we added an additional night! There are many day trips on offer from SunSuko. Highly recommend the snorkelling trip which was some of the best snorkelling we’ve ever had! On site there is a boutique selling items sourced and designed by Anja where we ended up treating ourselves! Anja’s enthusiasm extended beyond SunSuko. Having admired the artwork I approached her to ask about best places to buy a piece to take home - she was happy to contact artist and organise purchase and delivery to our next place of stay.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious--fresh, creative, and so many choices! We were so happy to wake up every morning knowing how well nourished and satisfied we would be. Also, the dinner choices were phenomenal, absolutely no need to go eat anywhere else to eat in my opinion. The rooms and pool (plus so many other facilities like a yoga studio both indoor/outdoor as well as a spa) are so lovely. Every last detail was carefully thought about and very attractive and comfortable to boot. The location was amazing--so close to the beach (there are bikes you can use or you can walk or rent a motor bike) but also nestled up to stunning mountains that you can admire. The staff are the sweetest, most helpful people too. They really go out of their way to make your stay so nice that you don't want to leave. The owner is an amazing lady who really cares that you enjoy your time as well. Trust me--you will. I highly, highly recommend Sun Suko. We will definitely be back.

A true sanctuary in the north west, away from the hustling and bustling places in the south. Fantastic mountain view and close to the beach. Anja, the owner, and her staff make you feel immediately at home. Every room is decorated individually with beautiful details, handpicked by the owner. The food is delicious and always fresh. You will find a wide range of local food with a twist as well as Mediterranean food on the menu. Vegetarian and vegan friendly. If you’re looking for a peaceful place surrounded by the beautiful nature with beautifully decorated rooms and great fresh food, Sun Suko Boutique Retreat is the perfect place.
